Yes, I think this one tops it, as Mel-Man's best solo instrumental yet.
The trumpets and horns go so good with the beat, along with the moog in the backround serving as a 'wobbling' bass. I like the errie keys played as well during the chorus. This Mel beat takes out his previous ones..."L.A. Times," "Year 2000," "Dogg Named Snoop," "Benefit Of The Doubt" and "NO." Tight, tight.

i disagree, the beat is pretty whack to me, maybe i only listen to it once so i'll probably listen to it more and see if it changes
-
The beat is well done, you can tell he put some work into it , i am just lately starting to feel this song.
Oh ya, Dre did actually coproduce Year 2000, just to let you know. PEACE
-
The credits say Mel-Man did it on his own, with Dre as 'Executive Producer.' Doesn't mean he helped actually construct the beat, or guide the artist.
-
I know what an executive producer is, don't worry!
I just was certain that Dre actually coproduced the beat (i remember at first peeps thought it was just mel, but then we learned Dre helped). Oh well, maybe i am wrong on this one.
-
I gotta agree, this is by far the best solo work that we have seen form Mel-Man. It is an incredibe beat.

Nope...Mels greatest beat yet is "Year 2000"...

Haven't Heard Bounce Yet, But I Think Dogg Named Snoop Is His Best That I've Heard. Perfect Beat.
-
Mel's beats are amazing ... But I prefer the Battlecat bEATS

Yeah that's tight, more horns. Listen to the bass though...wierd for Mel-Man. Not the type of shit he usually uses, sounds like a BC bass.
