Official just in: Jeezy has run out of lyrical content.
Beats is banging, ur lyrics isnt.
-
hook a playa up 8)
-
BORING ass album, nigga says the same shit every song, every verse. It's tiring to listen too
-
after 1 listen sounds like he got back to the "thug motivation 101" sound and away from "inspiration" sound and i am happy about that. only 1 listen, but right now i say this is better than "inspiration" but not as good as "thug motivation 101." Will give my full review after a couple more listens.
-
who dat = 8) this shit fuckin bangs
shoulda had more shawty redd on the album IMO
-
very solid after 2nd listen. only tracks i ain't feelin are "welcome back" and "by the way."

Tru. He does have alot of same sounding beats on this record. Maybe expand, different producers, switch up the style, i dunno. Record isnt that bad tho.
-
his weakest album if you ask me, i was REALLY anticipating this when i heard Put On but this is just a Big dissapointment.
-
There's no way you can listen to a whole Jeezy cd without getting bored. However this will get some play in the ride, some banging beats and Jeezy's flwo is always on point. Too bad he doesn't say shit.
-
Maybe its you fans that expect too much.
Everybody out there sayin TOS wack, LAX wack, The Recession wack, Carter 3 wack, Raw Footage wack, Ego Trippin wack...i mean the only album thats gotten at least a little positive review is Nas album.
-
but right now i say this is better than "inspiration" but not as good as "thug motivation 101."

What happened to the Cube feature on the album? ???
-
G-A-R-B-A-G-E
...and I've only heard the the first three songs. I don't want to listen to the rest anymore.
-
What are the leftovers?

you made a good choice, you wouldn't even be able to tell the rest of the tracks apart
all the same shit, same beats, same lyrics, fake studio gangsta shit
-

LOL, yah man damn, i just realized that right now, everyone callin every album wack, wack, wack, but some of this shit actually is just not as much as everyones says it is. I dont know if music is just going downhill or were just expecting too much from albums these days!!!
Imma check this Jeezy album out later but for now its MM4 time!!!
-
Okay, Jeezy really struggle to carry this album on his own with just 5 guests on 4 tracks, and only 3 of them are rappers.
I'mma bump it some more.
-
I love the album personally I've never looked for jeezy to have amazing lyrics neither does he did u listen to the song wordplay he said it himself I guess y'all don't listen just skim through it I think the only thing that upsets me about this album is that one of the producers I got tracks from used that same sample on that track circulate and we were getting a feature from rakim to rip it with me we had way hotter song now that's out the door
-
you guys seriously like jeezy? That guy fucking sucks
-
I only liked "Vacation", "Don't Do It" (even though this sample has been used sooo many times already, last time not even a year ago on Freeway's album), "Put On", and "My President"... I was disappointed with the rest, Jeezy slipped on this one IMO, his first 2 albums were solid and I copped both... unfortunatly isn't the case with this one :-\
-
def not a not as good as his first one or second one which is not good because his second one cant fuck wit the first one. im not gon even compare to tm 101but the recession dont even have songs on the level of i luv it, go getta, dreamin, 3 a.m, keep it gangsta or the realest on inspiration, except maybe black president and put on :(
-
about to interview Jeezy!

Damn :D
;D in 45 minutes i believe
-
goin' down tomorrow...
-
I love "Welcome Back". But, yeah, the album just sounds like one long song throughout (with the exception of a few, like "Circulate"). It's good to have a signature sound thorughout an album (something hip-hop has strayed away from), but this isn't doing it for me. I'll be picking this up, though, cause there's plenty of songs that I've had on regular rotation lately.
-
good for the car thats it... and i like jeezy but this album was not up to expectations..
-
just finished interviewing jeezy
-
this album is crazy btw
-
jeezy=garbage,true story
-
Opinons from people that just heard it?
-
"Put On" feat. Kanye is a crazy track! That shit bangs HARD in the ride!! :o Im feelin a few tracks on here, the one with Trey Songs is kinda dope...The beats pound hard in the ride for sure!

I DOnt think i will, I lisened to it ounce and i thought both of his previios albums were better. "Put on" maybe better than all songs off jeezy 2nd album. But as far as a complete out i like Jeezy 2nd effort better than this after 1 lisen

whats the big difference between shawty lo and jeezy?
call me crazy but they're on the same level imo
quick listen:
recession --> boring
welcome back --> " "
by the way --> " "
crazy world --> " "
what they want --> " "
amazin --> too bad all these songs sound the same. this one isnt as bad as the others, but you guys werent kidding about this album being the same shit over and over
hustlaz ambition --> album is picking up. two tolerable songs in a row
who dat --> nevermind, this sucks
i dont know --> its ok
circulate --> not bad
word play --> every track on this album that I like would be much better without him on it. this one too.
vacation --> meh
everything --> anthony hamilton doesnt belong on the chorus. his verse is good, but boosie has one too...
takin it there --> best song so far
dont do it --> this song hurts my ears. something about the mixing. give another producer this sample and another rapper the beat, and get back to me
put on --> obviously the best song... but why no jay verse? btw, has anyone from the west done a verse over this beat? I'm thinking of making a jay/kanye/cham/?? remix.
get allot --> not too bad. not good either
my president --> the name and the nas feature make this out to be something that it isnt. not a bad song, but you should know before you hear it.
bonus track (ive done it) --> great beat on this one. probably top 3 on the album.
overall it sucks, but i cant give it a number rating yet

Fuuuuuck that. Put On is the only one that is really good enuff to put in the ride..
This album is fucked, Jeezy has no versatility... The songs are so damn generic...
