Looks like the time has come... The FINALS for Dubcc.com's Fantasy Basketball League is here! 2 teams will face off this week to determine the league champion...Yours truly will be up against mrceo of this board. Here are both team's full rosters:

Niks got a good team on paper but who knows whats gonna happen. We all know Odom can go down at any moment.

obviously I voted for myself, but it does look like you might have the better team on paper but all of my players are VERY consistent when it comes to all the stat categories, the time has come time to see what goes down

i don't know if u remember our scoring system but we do overall instead of head to head with a custom scoring formula. i just think its more realistic. i played your guys way the first time i played like 3 years ago.

Well, if that's how you like it, cool...You don't only have to do it one way, you can be in different leagues as well. I'm sure all formats are fun. this is just the dubcc.com league format. If you want, you can join up next season, along with whatever leagues you currently play in...PeACe

yahoo does the scoring for us. having every category the same is whack. your can't tell me that a rebound should be worth the same as a field goal?

Yea, but it's not about how much it counts, it's about having the knowledge to round out the best team so you can have a good chance at winning every category. That means you have to find rebounders, 3 point shooters, defenders, dudes who score a lot, passers with low turnovers, free throw specialists, etc. and make everything work together...I think I did a pretty good job of doing that, especially considering my injuries and the fact that I got autodraft and didn't even know how to play for the first couple of weeks...But like I said, you're welcome to try beating me at this next season. I doubt you can. ;D

to be honest basketball is a distant 3rd when it comes to sports that i follow. Football and baseball being the top 2. the first year i played it was a 12 teamer. so knowledge of sleepers and working the waiver wire is very important. for guys liike us that sit at work all day and do absolutely no work we have a definate advantage. this year my team was in dead last the first few months of the season after trading d-wade for bd and t-mac my team picked up adding elton brand for melo was also huge for me. so as of right now im 7 out of 12 but bear in mind that our league is a lil more comprehensive than your league

to answer your question my first year playin fantasy b-ball wasn't pretty. massive injury problems plagued my team

I believe that, with my knowledge, I'd be able to adapt to any format and win that league. Basketball has always been my first sport, so I guess that's the main advantage. I've noticed that workin around injuries is a huge part of fantasy sports, especially basketball...And this time of year, there's always lots of baskeball stars shutting it down for the season, so the waiver wire really is a huge part of it too...

i play pretty much all my fantasy leagues wit some absolute sports nuts. thats pretty much all they do. me and a few other cats are pretty much the only ones that have a life outside of sports. ofcourse the other guys are married with kids and shit so this is they idea of fun

yea these fools dont quite understand the fantasy part. its like they are fuckin GM's. we play for money also usually like $50 each team except in football we do $150 but its a 10 teamer

i ended up winning in both of mine
one league thanks to Dip and Etan THomas last night who got me 9 blocks together
another league where it was private, n the commish cheated by dropping everybody's players (except mine and some other teams) to add all the top players; he also locked my team from making any moves lol
