They have pretty cool ticket plans that allows you to see your preferred team in the Group, Semi, and Final. Of course, your choice of team has to go all the way in order for the ticket to count. I'm guessing these are part of the tickets that are not sold, since some teams have more tickets sold than others. As the date approaches, these tickets will eventually be released and sold immediately.

going to s. africa is not the same as driving to new jersey or new orleans....
1) most people cant afford
2) most people cant get visa
3) its WINTER in s. africa as opposed to every world cup that is in SUMMER
4) africa is not as appealing as europe and n. america or s. america, anytime they're in those continents it gets sold out
5) people are interested in seeing the good games (ex england vs. argentina) not some small time countries (ex honduras vs. slovenia) so yea im not surprised those games dont get sold out...cuz besides the people of their country, no one else is interested in seeing them. Teams like germany, italy, argentina, spain, holland, england, brazil, etc...are the ones that attract people from all over the world
6) even if it doesnt sell out, it still doesnt change the fact that its the #1 sport in the world, NFL is like 50th, not even comparable :)

Due to a high demand for certain Team Specific Ticket Series, these tickets are no longer available for the following countries: England, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, republic of Ireland and Netherlands.
There also been incredible demand for individual match tickets. It is no longer possible within the current sales phase to purchase match tickets for games taking place in Cape Town, Nelspruit and Tshwane/ Pretoria. Individual match tickets for the Opening Match, the two Semi-Finals, and the Final are also currently unavailable. However, it is possible to acquire a ticket for the Opening Match, a Semi-Final and the Final by purchasing a Team Specific Ticket Series - 7 (TST-7). This product is fixed; which means that if the team of your choice is eliminated from the competition, you will follow the victor all the way to the Final Match of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™.
Note: An additional 72,000 ticket requests are currently being processed (confirmations are due at the end of this week). Should any confirmed ticket(-s) not be paid by the applicant, it will be made available to the public again

Nah, Africa is so fucking far away, and the World Cup lasts like a month. 4 years ago when it was in Germany, I really considered going, but had to work so those plans were scrapped. Next time it is within proximity, I'd def. go.

dogg go to fifa.com site and read about what it takes to get world cup tix...its fukkin insaaaane, i dont even know how regular folks can even get it. There is shit u gotta fill out, wait in queue, keep trying for days, stay up online, and in the end you MIGHT get something. And its not like they let u just pick a game and a seat as if u bought from ticketmaster, its all by luck and spending lots of time. You have to purchase a package and imagine coordinating an international trip with friends, it'll be a nightmare, who fronts the money first, who spends the time to even become eligible for tix. I really wanna go to a world cupa and i would consider brazil 2014 for sure but its still gonna be damn hard to get tix.

A lot of the tickets left are from the African Countries, and most european countries have sold out despite the stupid cost of everything, i know 2 people that have got tickets for 2 group games for england and including travelling and hotel etc its costing them nearly 10 grand each

before they left they had to get vaccinations for a bunch of shit, and actually get briefings on what to do if they're kidnapped, told not to get it on with any females because of the risk of catching aids etc and this shit is coming from the government here

Like I'm saying, the fact that it's in Africa plays a HUGE role in all this. It's just that I'm not low key or political correct about this, which is what makes me look like a Nazi to many people.
My best friends could be African (although they're not) - it's not about that. It's about the fucking fact that you can't get drunk in Africa, go somewhere around the street away from security and just enjoy yourself... all this was absolutely NO PROBLEM in Germany during the last world cup. If you behave like this that time around, you WILL BE FUCKED. And that is reality, whether liberals like it or not.

2 of the guys i work with have dropped nearly $30k each for their trip and are going with another group of 3-4 people
before they left they had to get vaccinations for a bunch of shit, and actually get briefings on what to do if they're kidnapped, told not to get it on with any females because of the risk of catching aids etc and this shit is coming from the government here
Like I'm saying, the fact that it's in Africa plays a HUGE role in all this. It's just that I'm not low key or political correct about this, which is what makes me look like a Nazi to many people.
My best friends could be African (although they're not) - it's not about that. It's about the fucking fact that you can't get drunk in Africa, go somewhere around the street away from security and just enjoy yourself... all this was absolutely NO PROBLEM in Germany during the last world cup. If you behave like this that time around, you WILL BE FUCKED. And that is reality, whether liberals like it or not.

I understand certain parts of Africa not having that much appeal as far as a tourist are concerned...especially with the way the media covers Africa. The problem with you is that you never really argue because of the truth my statements may of may not have, but always because you don't think I'm not eligible for making those statements. When I for instance say blacks are more prone to have children with women they are not monogamous with, it doesn't matter where I'm from or how many black friends I have and what not.

Well there is reality and there are perceptions of reality. Some of them being on point, some of them kind of, some of them way off and some just retarded.
