Rumours suggest Jigga ready to scoop up another Carter...
Jay-Z & Lil Wayne on the same label? - Well it could become reality, if you believe rumours!
As unbelievable as this may sound, internet reports suggest Jigga paid Wayne's label, Cash Money Records $5 million to release the A Milli star from his current deal.
An insider told gossip news site MediaTakeOut:
"The deal was in the works for a while; they just needed to get on the same page as to price. And [everyone's] there now."
If these rumours are fact and not fiction, Lil Wayne will leave his 'family' and join the Roc Nation / Rocafella label in early 2009.
Lil Wayne recently celebrated the birth of his first son and is reported to have signed UK R&B star Jay Sean to his label, so the Roc deal seems unlikely but with Jay-Z involved - anything is possible!
Maybe Jay gave Wayne more cash in a briefcase!
