Getto Boys was the first thing I thought when I heard it.
More than likely DOC wrote it. This was Chronic era, correct?

Sounds very early in the Chronic sessions. Like more N.W.A production and lyrics style.
Re: East Side Party. Who TF is mixing these? No way is that a DR original mix the beats all off.

yeah chronic era, i think....yeah, most likely DOC wrote it, but GB was also around at that time. bushwick was on stranded on death row, and i think scarface was hangin' around with them earlier?

it's probable Scarface was involved in the process though as The Geto Boys were working in Cali and The Convicts almost signed on the label (hence Bushwick Bill being on the intro of Stranded On Death Row, the Warren G produced song by Snoop & The Convicts, RBX being featured on The Diary and Scarface reusing Death Row material for The Diary, Big Mike reusing shit he wrote for The Chronic on Till Death Do Us Part etc.)
-
just two of the hundereds of deathrow tracks in the vault. whover leaked this and the doggather shit, you can bet is sittin on a lot more....pac,snoop, dre, nate, dpg, etc

sorry I tripped, I always thought Strictly for the Funk Lovers on The World Is Yours was a RBX. it reminds me of RBX on The Chronic Outro, the voice, the classic P-Funk instrumental (Doo Doo Chasers melody if i'm not mistaken), Jewell singing in the background, Scarface using the phrase "getting your cranium cracked" / "haven't you heard of a killa", shit sounds like RBX and Death Row. even if it's not RBX, it does sound like Death Row material and you can hear Jewell singing Scarface & RBX in the background at some point, so all of these elements point to this interlude being conceived and recorded at the time Scarface, Bushwick Bill, Big Mike & Lord 3-2 were working with Death Row.

...it seems that it is Jewell Caples. And it seems that I never noticed it. And yeah, Rap-A-Lot family worked with Death Row at the beginning of the label, because of connections between Suge Knight & J Prince (with Harry O who gave money for Rap-A-Lot then Death Row / GF Entertainment).

Awesome. 8) Could someone post the original Chronic 2000 tracklist? From what I remember there re 3 more unrelased Dre tracks next to OG2BG.

Chronic 2000 previously contained three remixes of unreleased Dr Dre tracks :
"Hoe Hopper" (Remix)
(Dr Dre featuring Top Dogg, Doobie)
(produced by [remix] : Damon Thomas)
"Die MF Die" (Remix)
(Dr Dre featuring Top Dogg)
(produced by [remix] : Damon Thomas)
"OG To BG" (Remix)
(Dr Dre featuring Tha Realest, Daz, Kurupt)

PREVIOUSLY RELEASED CHRONIC SONGS
The Day The Niggaz Took Over
(Dr Dre featuring Top Dogg)
(Remix 2/19/99)
Rat Tat Tat
(Dr Dre featuring VK and perhaps Tha Realest)
(Remix 3/28/99)
Stranded On Death Row
(Dr Dre)
(Remix 2/18/99)
Dre Day
(Dr Dre featuring Snoop Doggy Dogg)
(i don't know if it was remixed)
Bitches Ain't Shit
(Dr Dre featuring Snoop Doggy Dogg)
(i don't know if it was remixed)
Nothing But A G' Thang
(Dr Dre featuring Snoop Doggy Dogg)
(surely remixed, also labeled as Nothing But A G Thang II)
UNRELEASED DR DRE SONGS
"Hoe Hopper" (Remix)
(Dr Dre featuring Top Dogg, Doobie)
(Remix Damon Thomas 2/20/99)
"Die MF Die" (Remix)
(Dr Dre featuring Top Dogg)
(Remix Damon Thomas)
"OG To BG" (Remix)
(Dr Dre featuring Tha Realest, Daz, Kurupt)
(produced by : Dr Dre)
And ? And perhaps "Mr Officer" which was a Dre track that used almost the same instrumental that the released one, with The Convicts and different ad-libs.
There were a lot of tracklist floating around (and legit) with this Chronic 2000 project. According to me, the one which was adverrtised was this one :
Disc: 1
1. Rat Tat Tat Tat - Dr. Dre/VK (remix)
2. Gotta Love Gangsta's - The Realest/Scarface/Richie Rich
3. Dre Day - Dr. Dre/Snoop Doggy Dogg
4. Ho Hoppin' - Dr. Dre/Top Dogg/Doobie
5. I Thought You Knew - Mac-Shawn/E-40/Daz Dillinger
6. Who Do You Believe In - 2Pac/Kadfi (previously unreleased)
7. Curiosity - VK
8. It's Going Down - Mac-Shawn/Daz Dillinger/Tha Realest
9. Late Night - 2Pac/DJ Quick/Outlawz (previously unreleased)
10. Roll Wit' Us - Daz Dillinger/Kurupt
11. Nothing But A G' Thang - Dr. Dre/Snoop Doggy Dogg
12. Beautiful Lady - Danny Boy/K-Ci
13. Stand Strong - Tha Realest/Danny Boy/Jewell
14. We Don't Love Em - Top Dogg
15. Because Of You Girl - Daz Dillinger/Kurupt/Tha Realest
Disc: 2
1. Bitches Ain't Shit - Dr. Dre/Snoop Doggy Dogg
2. Like It Or Not - Soopafly
3. I'm Comin' Home - Tha Realest/Jewell
4. Lil' Ghetto Boy - Snoop Dogg/The D.O.C.
5. They Wanna Be Like Us - Tha Realest/Top Dogg/Doobie
6. Way Too Often - Soopafly/Kurupt
7. OG To BG - Dr. Dre/Tha Realest/Daz Dillinger/Kurupt
8. Wanna Be Loved - Michel'le/VK
9. Drinks On Me - Captain Save M'/Ant Banks
10. Big Face And Some Change - Doobie/El Dorado
11. Presenting Miilkbone - Miilkbone
12. Die MF Die - Dr. Dre/Top Dogg
13. Things Your Man Won't Do, The - VK
14. From My Death Bed - Tha Realest
15. Ride Or Get Rode On - Bad Habitz
-
Yes, I think the tracklist you posted is the real one.
But I think the PREVIOUSLY RELEASED CHRONIC SONGS on the "original" Chronic 2000 compilation were:
Dre Day - Dr. Dre/Snoop Doggy Dogg (not remixed)
Nothing But A G' Thang - Dr. Dre/Snoop Doggy Dogg (not remixed)
Bitches Ain't Shit - Dr. Dre/Snoop Doggy Dogg (not remixed)
Lil' Ghetto Boy - Snoop Dogg/The D.O.C. (not remixed)
and the 4 UNRELEASED DR. DRE SONGS FROM THE DEATH ROW DAYS were:
Rat Tat Tat Tat - Dr. Dre/VK (Remix)
Ho Hoppin' - Dr. Dre/Top Dogg/Doobie
OG To BG - Dr. Dre/Tha Realest/Daz Dillinger/Kurupt
Die MF Die - Dr. Dre/Top Dogg
So what we have right now are the previously leaked original versions (or remix) of "Rat-tat-tat-tat" and "Ho Hoppin´aka Tha Hoe Hopper" in pretty bad quality and the new leak "OG to BG" in pretty good quality. Still missing "Die MF Die". Correct?
-
And remember inside out turned in to chronic 2000. Some of these remixes could of been from that project.
-

If a lot of tracks planned / released for Chronic 2000 came from Inside Out Compilation, the Dr Dre remixes were made especially for Chronic 2000.

Rat-tat-tat was the 4th song. If you listen to the released version of Chronic 2000, track 1 disc 1, they kept the intro to the song, at the end he says "we gonna have to Rat-tat-tat dat ass" and it was supposed to lead into the Dre song, but instead we got the Treach/VK song.
You sure about that? I thought it was 4 unreleased Dre beats/songs that were remixed. I remember seeing the posters for the album in The Source.

Lol I wonder which genius it was that said "hey you know what we should do? Let's add Top Dogg and Tha Realest to legendary Dre songs that they'll never live up to". Set those guys up for failure from the jump.

Same thang was done with Pac. Actually, some remixes of unreleased material were fuckn dope. Listen to OG 2 BG by Tha Dogg Pound. It was a really good track from Chronic 2000. They tried to release the unreleased Dr Dre material. To me, it's not worse than Eminem on 2Pac songs. Really. Before 1999, Death Row already did that with Top Dogg vocals on All About U from Greatest Hits ;)
-
Lil' Ghetto Boy - Snoop Dogg/The D.O.C. (not remixed)
How is a version with The D.O.C. not a remix?

Hoe Hopper is out in pretty good quality, not perfect but still sounds great.

Do you have that good quality version?

Doubt that it´s a remix with him. IMO D.O.C. is mentioned here because he wrote that song.
And yea, I remember a better quality of Tha Hoe Hopper. Have to take a look on my old HDD.

Exactly, plus they added Tha Realest to a few other songs too.
Because of You Girl originally featured Edi of Tha Outlawz and they took him out and added Tha Realest after the song was recorded
It's Going Down originally featured Tray Deee and then they replaced him with Tha Realest as well.

They re recorded the songs just just replaced the og artists. But left og adlibs on both songs. Think edi can be heard on because of u (and storm) daz even says edi we got this off the hook or some shit like that.
And you can hear tray deee in background of goin down.
-
"Easy To Be A Soldier" (Snoop Dogg/Bitch Dogg) > Tha Realest added
"Because Of U" > EDI & Storm replaced by Tha Realest & Kurupt
"Who Do U Believe in" > Big Pimpin Delemond added
"Late Nite" > Quik & AMG replaced by Outlawz
"OG To BG" > Dr Dre replaced by Soopafly and Tha Dogg Pound
"Im Country" > Chocolate Bandit replaced by Doobie
"It's Going Down" > Tray Deee replaced by Tha Realest
"All About U" > YGD Top Dawg added
"Thug Nature" > Val Young deleted, J Valentine added
"Head Doctor" > Swoop G added
"I Will Survive" > Nate Dogg replaced by KV
"O.G." > Daz Dillinger added
or before...
"Out The Moon" > Lil Style replaced by 2Pac
"Let's Play House" > Warren G deleted
"California Love" > 2Pac added
"Can't C Mee" > given to Tha Dogg Pound, then 2Pac
Listen to projects like the classic "LBC 19th Street Compilation", all these songs were remixed or arranged with a lot of artists who were replaced by others (Kurupt, Swoop G). I mean, i'm not shocked with this type of ish ;) nothing new !
And, if we look at Dr Dre works. It's exaclty the same thang > "Blunt Tyme", "Sexy Dance", "Zoom" ...
Another example, "Still I Rise" (Chronic 2000 era). Hussein Fatal is excluded with new verses by Outlawz. Damon Thomas, the one who remixed all the Dr Dre tracks for "Chronic 2000" project, aslo remixed a lot of 2Pac tracks during this era.

Didn't Dre broke his jaw?
