I was in the street, and yeah I shot him,
But it was out of vengeance, cause they got Kim,
How can you blame me, I'm young, po' and hungry,
I just wanted to go out walking, and some guy mugged me,
When I got home, I ain't got a girl, so I'm cold and lonely,
And hearing some niggaz saying they blame General Lee,
All I'm asking for is a little help, cause I'm finding it hard not to yelp,
Some fat guy grabbed me, called me a fuckin whelp,
His fat ass turned me green, greener than fresh kelp,
This the kinda life I live, just trying to survive with,
A little dignity, but all they do is spit at me,
Cause they richer than all my 'hood put together,
They're warm in their mansions, whatever the weather,
It's cold as hell, can't afford the heating,
The landlord just told me to stop my bleating,
Funny how the landlord ain't one of us,
That's why I accept that I just have to, that I must,
Make sure I'm no longer out in the roads getting cussed,
And keep my face like I ain't getting fussed, knawhaImean?
