Wu Tang Rank
1. Ghostface Killah - He paints wild off the wall pictures with words
2. Old Dirty Bastard - The same with odb , he paints wild pictures with words and is a true character on the mic with charisma
3. Method Man - He can rap good and has good wordplay and a good flow of his own .
4. Raekwon - He paints pictures with odd rhyme schemes and has good wordplay like poetry type raps kinda like Nas
5. GZA - Has a wild imagination and can paint vivid pictures with words and has deep rhymes that make you think
6. RZA - His voice and rap style can be a little annoying at times but he is a good producer and can flow and paint pictures with words
7. Inspectah Deck - Not the most known out of the group or successful solo wise but is the back bone to the Wu and is a very good mc that can flow and spit
8. Masta Killa - He has a lazy type flow and can spit rhymes that make you think deep
9. Cappadonna - probally the weakest link in the group along with U God i think , but he has a off the wall , off beat , awkward rap style that some might feel and others think is kinda wack .
10. U God - He has had some good verses here and there and can spit some hot shit when he wants to but his solo shit is kinda weak and generic souding , either is really good at times or just plain unlistenable .
This is my list in order of favorite and best

^no love 2 rza or cap?
Rza made some pretty wack solo albums , i think he made 1 decent solo album the rest were straight trash real talk . Ghostface had the best solo albums out of all them . Not just 1 good solo album but a few good solo albums . And Cap is one of the weakest links out of the WU .

1. Method Man - Everyone knows Meth is number 1. He's probably the only one to go platinum, and he really put the other members in their place in that classic fight they got into on the Show, when he said..."You niccaz sat up in your room, wit your bitch, when I got up early in the morning, went to the interview, by my fuccing self! I didn't hear nobody complain then"—U-God—"because in every interview who does the talking, you do! you sit there and talk, talk, talk, talk, talk"—Meth—"Because, LOOK AT THE ANSWERS YOU GIVE!! LOOK AT THE ANSWERS YOU GIVE!!!" ...lmao, all the members are dope but Meth is easily the most charismatic, and joints like "Bring The Pain" and "All I Need" will go down in history as a couple of the most classic hip-hop joints of all time, it doesn't get much better then Meth's grimey graffiti stained subway video in "Bring the Pain", what says hip-hop more than that??
2. RZA- Clearly the leader of the crew. The glue, the man behind the scenes, the mastermind behind everything, who keeps in all 100, and can do the mathematics to take 9 Emcee's and mix down all their best ideas. After Meth, RZA also has a couple of my favorite solo Wu bangers with the mesmerizing "Tragedy" and "Holocaust".
...all the rest of them...

cap has a weird flow, but i actually think it's dope...outside of meth, rza has the most recognizable voice of the group.

i can name a few, but i'll hit u wit the one thatll resonate wit u most.......he ranks "regulate" a 6.5/10 or some shit because it aint "lyrical enough" and consideres it a fact as opposed to an opinion. to make it worse, he then ranked kendrick's album an 8.5/10, and again, spits it like its gospel as opposed to a very strange opinion..............no hate, i actually like the bloc. just callin it like it is, my ficca.

not to pile on Will because everyone has their own rap opinions but he also said Lady of Rage's debut album was better than Doggystyle.
Had me on some :eh: shit when i saw that.

No I said Doggystyle = Dogg Food = Necessary Roughness

I know. Rage is chronically underrated as a hardcore MC

doggystyle is a top 5 album ever
rage's album isn't even top 100 lol

I appreciate your enthusiasm since Rage is a West Coast, Death Row artist. But I thought her album was horrible. Just the "G Funk Intro" off of Doggystyle shits on anything from the Rage album

Rage needed to drop when Afro Puffs was still buzzing

no doubt.. that was her only chance.. even white girls at my school were into the "Afro Puffs" joint. That was her 15 minutes of fame, and you got to strike while the iron is hot. There was no way she was going to have a good album in 97' without Dre, and without all the Death Row artists surrounding her in their prime. She was a good 2-3 years late.
-
^yup

i think they should have included one of the Afro Puffs remixes to her album even if the song was so old at that point. I'm sure the album lost a few thousand sales from people who were borderline interested, took a look at the tracklist and said "nah" when they don't see Afro Puffs on there. i know i did this with albums back in the day.
-
yea havin a big single like that and not puttin it on an LP is pretty dense

Wow
And the idea that Doggystyle is a top 5 ALL TIME album ::)
You guys :D
-
I agree that Rage album was underrated, I liked it...It wasnt a typical Death Row album, half of the tracks were east coast producers Premier. Mo Bee etc...she also wiped the floor with Snoop and Daz on that one track
-
if Cappadonna and Killah Priest are being considered members then I wonder why nobody mentioned Redman lol in that case Redman bodies basically all of the Wu except for GZA, Rae, Ghost, and Meth

Priest will always be Wu Tang to me
http://www.xxlmag.com/news/2013/11/killah-priest-doesnt-regret-missing-out-on-final-wu-tang-clan-spot/
guess he doesn't consider himself a member though.
for those who are too lazy to click the link this is the most important part:
You were going to be initially on “Da Mystery Of Chessboxin’?”
Of course! I fell asleep, man. It was me and Masta Killa writing and he jumped on it and he killed it. I was asleep. Me and him used to joke about it all the time.
RZA had the beat on and everybody else was already on it. [RZA] was like, “[This last verse] is up in the air for whoever wants to lace this.” We were like, “We gotta make this. We gotta make this.” I don’t know if it was the last song or whatever but we said we gotta make it. So [Masta Killa] and I are writing, friendly competition, and we are just listening, vibing out, a lot of weed is being passed around. I didn’t smoke at the time but we were just chillin’. Time is going on and going on and it was getting late. Everybody had practically already left but we were still in there and I just dozed off. I was still up a little bit and I just heard [Masta Killa] go on the mic and just kill it. “Homicide is legal…” I’m thinking that, “This ain’t nothing.” I’ll just catch it on another end or catch something else. It just happened that he sparked it off. He just spit it and afterwards, he bounced it and then we listened to it and we were like, “Yo! That shit is hard!” and that was the end of it. I think RZA didn’t want anybody else on that joint. That was it. You know, I made it on the Gravediggaz and then started my crew, Sunz Of Man. I tried to be entrepreneur in some ways like RZA and GZA and them.
Do you have regrets that if you had just stayed awake you might have been that ninth member of the Wu-Tang Clan?
Yeah, you know what? I don’t look back. It is the way it is. I don’t look back at it. There’s no regrets or whatever but it is what it is. I’m always here when I’m needed. I don’t look at it that way. I’m happier where I’m at right now.
-
how would he be a member if he's not on any of the albums? and redman is on one song on the W....theyre just affiliates, and distant ones at that.

he was featured on a lot of classic old Wu stuff, even had a solo on GZA's first LP

yea but not on any of the group albums lol...come on, now

well i'll justify my post by saying KP is on multiple songs on ODB's first album and GZA's first album (including his own solo song) so it's kinda like how Big Syke and Mopreme were Outlawz yet never members on any Outlawz records

how you gonna ask me if I heard the new Wu album when it was my post giving it props that made you peep it allegedly ;D
just fucking with ya, but as far as Cap to me he was and never will be an original member I don't care if Wu fans are updating that Wiki page daily to make it seem so, he's nowhere on their first group album and on Wu-Tang Forever it says "featuring Cappadonna" on all of the songs that he was on implying that he's a separate entity from the original crew
never considered Priest as an official group member either but to each their own, A Better Tomorrow is still that fire 8)

1. gza, couse he's the genius. he made the best wu record of all time.
2. method man, couse hes tical. the funniest enterteainter of the clan.
3.-4. U-God and Masta Killa: their albums are allways goods. no filler on it, no weak albums just ok and strong ones.
5. GFK don't really like his older albums, but with 12 reasons and 36 seasons he made really i mean REALLY good works.
neva really like the "clown-type" rap what odb made.
rza is one of the dopest producer, but as a rapper i ain't like it.
Raekwon is just an average rapper IMO.
Inspectah made several weaker joint too.

That is the wildest, most backwards opinion I've ever seen from someone purporting to like the Wu, but it is an opinion just the same and doesn't affect me. I am still blown away though.

All of Ghostface Mullahs solo albums were either dope or decent enough to listen , I don't think he ever made a weak album . Supreme was his best .

you all havent agree with me, thats just MY list. ;)
