IMO Snoop should take a year or 2 off...  This also means NO GUEST APPEARANCES....He always drops tight verses for features and runs out of things to say on his albums.

Snoop, take a year or so off, get your label straight, then go back into the studio w DRE....It would make the both of them better

Talkin bout tha worst WestCoast artist I would say it Daz... no offence, but he never drops anythin worst listenin 2, and even wat waz good bout tha Doggpound, iz because Kurupt was there, not Daz...

Im actually a huge Snoop fan....But in all honesty, what does Snoop have to offer right now?  Not a whole lot IMO

Thats why I said he should take some time off, and come back with something fresh.

Yall don't know how to subjectively look at SHIT.  Somebody says who's the WORST rapper, outta the ENTIRE westcoast, and you come up with

1. Snoop
2. Daz.


WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU SMOKING?  They didn't say, who dissapoints you.  They didn't say, who's fell off.  They said, Who is the WORST rapper on the westcoast, and the only thing that pops in your head is Snoop and Daz? LOL Yall blow my mind sometimes.  

Even if you think Snoop and Daz have fallen off, do you really, really think that say, Shade Shiest is tighter than them?  Yall all like Kokane better than Snoop?   How about Kurupt? You'd rather hear Kurupt songs than Snoop songs?  

I mean, I realize maybe Snoop dissapoints you, but he's the WORST out west? I can't believe yall mean that, it's impossible that somebody considers EVERYBODY better than him.  Come on.

I never said Snoop was the worst, becuase I actually think hes the best, I just replied that he needs to take some time off, to regroup perhaps.

Snoop has fallen off, but he certainly ain't the worst rapper out west. How you can say Daz is the worse is totally beyond me, he can actually stay with a beat unlike some peeps I will mention, and he normally comes pretty tight with his rhymes. He not a lyrical genious, but he is hardly the worse rapper in the west.

For me the worse west coast rapper in recent years has to be a female rapper called "Q". She was featured on two tracks on the Escape From Deathrow compilation, and she totally ruined Back On The Smash, managing to stay completly off beat for her short verse, undoing all the good work that Kurupt and Tray Dee had done completly ripping up the beat.

Out of more recent rappers I would say that Shade Shiest is certainly one of the worst. He basically just talks in some songs in his attempt to do a Warren G laid back flow, and just sounds even worse when he speeds up. If he wasn't a rich kid he would never have had an album out at all.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.
