A member of the popular rap trio Trillville has been arrested on charges of raping a 16-year-old girl, DeKalb County police said Monday.
Police said Donnell Prince, who goes by the name Don P, and another man raped the girl at a party in Lithonia on Dec. 16. The assault allegedly took place at a gathering of about eight to 10 people at the Wood Crest Walk apartments when Prince and the second man took the girl into a bedroom, said Dekalb police Officer Cory Hughes.
The girl and her friend then left the apartment and called police. But by the time they arrived, most of the partygoers had left, Hughes said.
Prince was arrested last week and charged with rape and two counts of aggravated sodomy. Police are looking for the second man
The trio Trillville first began making music as high school students but did not gain popularity until signing on with Lil Jon, who popularized the high-energy, club-oriented hip-hop phenomenon known as "crunk."
The group scored two big hits in the past two years: "Neva Eva" and "Some Cut," the latter reaching No. 3 on Billboard's hot rap tracks charts. Its second CD is scheduled for a summer release.
Reached Monday night, group publicist Teresa Sanders did not want to comment on the arrest.

Damn well if he's really that young, and he really didn't rape her, then he should be good. I was thinkin he was 26 27 you know? It's hard for me to ever believe when girls get raped by celebrities or even by people who aren't celebrities but have a chance of bein one like college celebrities.
