I agree with everything u said except for I think bow down was also a five mic album. As far as death certificate being greater than all of 2pac albums, I would not say that so boldy. He has three classics to compete with that album especially 7 day theory and AEOM. As far the acting goes I would say both of them were good actors - they were not exaclty spectacular while at the same time they were not that bad at all too. Personally I would choose 2pac, but I believe they are both equal. If someone was talking about the goat rapper, I would not say anything if they chose either 2pac or cube.

As for Cube acting, man hes not that great to be honest, he does comedy and some action. Pac if given the chance, would have been a true actor. He went to that Baltimore school for acting or something as well.
Pac was a poet as well. In a lot of ways, Pac seemed a lot more cultured and educatd than Cube in my op.

Ice Cube's the predator album was one of the first hip hop record i owned. In my oppinion Ice Cube is the greatest rapper of the westcoast. Even though he'll never release another classic like Death Certificate he's still a pionner of the westcoast rap.

It's the whole underground, underdog complex. I understand, I am not a fan of radio rap, BUT, I don't dismiss just because everyone else agrees. If everyone tomorrow says Ice Cube greatest rapper ever, the same people saying how great Ice Cube is will start to find someone else, like they'll talk about how Ice Cube couldn't even handle Kam, and how he is selling out playing in family comedies. If tomorrow everyone starts to say Crooked I is running the west, and he puts out a platnum album, these same cats will start talking the praises of Sly Boogie and Ras Kass. So personally, I don't see much arguments in your case. 2Pac was better than Cube, the same way Nas is better than Melli Mel. It's all good. I will leave you with this though.

Ice Cube is sick and one of the top 5 all time but Pac is unfuckwithable, especially if we are talking about the 96' era Pac who was in his prime, and reached a level that few other MC's ever reach.
Pac was the better songwriter and more well rounded artist, plus.....

Without including Ice Cube's NWA legacy and by focusing on his solo career it would be fair to say that
judging by Amerika'z Most Wanted alone Cube was actually better but on the other hand Me Against The World was better than any other Solo album Ice Cube has ever made(not always by light years but still it was better)...I wouldn't rate Makaveli and All Eyez On Me as flawless but both had enough Solid material to make them both decent...

to say theyre the same and we cant compare em is bullshit they both have differing styles. Personally I like Cube alot more but since pac is dead we gotta give it up to him extra it seems like. Realistcally pac wasn't the GOAT by any means and I think Cube outshined him as far as being a west coast classic. Pretty tough to come out and compare Cube to Pac. Everyone has their own opinion so it's pointless to compare the both. There is no clear winner
but IMO, Pac is the GOAT because of what he had to say, he was/is the most influential rapper of all time and that's something that Cube can never fuck with. I'm an Ice Cube fan as well and i bump his shit at least once a day but it's really hard to compare them as of today considering that 2pac is dead and Cube really doesn't rap no more. Both in my eyes are Top 5 no doubt but to me, Pac is the GOAT. Acting wise i think Pac's portrayal of Bishop in Juice is better than Doughboy, though both roles were amazing.

As I said before, Pac was the better all around artist, hands down. Cube never made mindblowing joints on the level of tracks like "Blasphemy", "Who Do U Believe In", "Hail Mary", etc etc......as an overall songwriter, Pac had no equals.
And as far as overall impact goes, dont make me laugh. Almost every mainstream rapper today has copied or been influenced by Pac in some way shape or form. They got fucking Pac COLLEGE COURSES now, that is how deep people consider his lyrics. Honestly, I think you people saying Cube is better are just going against popular opinion just to "be different". Fuck that.

Every topic that you listed in your first paragraph, Pac has made at least one song about......and Cube wasnt known for his women positive songs, whereareas Pac made those kinda tracks on the regular.
One other edge that Pac has over Cube:
Cube's albums (with the exception of Death Certificate) declined with each progressive release, while Pac's got BETTER.

I believed what gave 2pac the slight edge was his emotions and poetry. These two hip hop legends are really equal and I hate it when we have to compare them against each other because it becomes a 2pac vs. cube thing. Straight Outta Compton is a classic yes.....but Pac has a few classic albums of his own that rival that album.

Both discs is loaded with bangers from nearly start to finish, and like it or not, it is one of the most influential albums of all time. Just like Magic and Bird are the reasons NBA gained a great viewership, Michael Jordan is still better. I live Magic, favorite player of all time, but Jordan is the greatest ever. 'Pac is the greatest rapper of all time. That's not even a question in many peoples minds. Cube was great, the Magic Johnson of rap, Dre was the Dr. J since both innovated their professions and Dr. J was responsible for most of the moves Jordan did, and Eazy E was almost like the Larry Bird of rap since he was a huge draw do to his voice like Bird was because he was white, and Ren is like James Worthy, a great player and is largely forgotten next to his great teammates, and Yella is like Moses Malone who played next to Dr. J and together were unstoppable. But in the end, 2Pac and the Outlawz were the early 90's Bulls. Kadafi was his Scottie, and the rest were his role players who all played a part in winning titles, and all did everything they could to work as a unit to make classic hits. The 90's Bulls would run into trouble against the 80's All-Stars, but no question that the player of the game would be MJ, and 'Pac would be the one to watch in all of that.

He was the realest "thug" of all time and he truly "didn't give a fuck." He talked shit about anybody and anyone. Rappers/gangsta's these days always talk about "not givin a fuck" but when it comes down to it they won't do shit. Ice Cube is nowhere close to bein as thug as Pac. Could you see Pac doin a movie, "Are we there yet?" Hell no. Not hatin on that, you gotta make money but I'm makin a point. Yeah Pac made movies but he was always real. Even his family dates back to black panther type stuff, Assata is wanted by the government, there is so much in Pac's past. Tupac is without a doubt the GOAT in terms of an artist and a thug. And he's death has made him eternal, just like he knew it would. Ice Cube is great too, but he is more of a revolutionary, so this shouldn't even be an argument.

Man 'Pac's mother was been released from jail because she was pregnant of Pac. We can say Pac was born in jail. The man who raised him was in the top10 America's Most Wanted list done by the FBI (not a joke list, but the real one). The guy who married Afeni was in jail. Afeni was in jail. Geronimo and Mutulu are/were in jail. His biological father was been killed in jail. He grew up with the Police on his back, cause Afeni was a Black Panther. Obviously she tried to change her life, giving the best she could to Pac, trying to send him to good schools, and shit. But he went like 1 year in that Baltimore school. Then Afeni got broke again, spending her money to buy crack. So Pac grew up as a G in Marin City, in "The Jungle", with Ray Luv. And trust me, i know a pair of people who lives there and it aint a nice place to live. It aint Hollywood, man! Just watch some of Pac's DVDs. Pac was the better songwriter, better storyteller, better overall artist, better everything. Except maybe as an actor and thats pretty close.
Cube never reached the level Pac did when he made 7 Day Theory. Pac wasnt human when he made that album, he was on a level that has yet to be reached by any other mc, and the scary thing is, he was only 25.....imagine if he lived on to make another album....shit would have shut the entire rap game down. Cube was great, definatly one of the top 10 all time but he aint fuckin with Pac, especially not the 96' era Pac who was in his prime.

Oh, so now you're claiming Ice Cube is shallow? You may need to listen to Death Certificate one more time and pay attention to what Cube actually says, because he's just as much on point as 2Pac when it comes to social consciousness.
Y'all are mentioning a million reasons why Pac's life was more thugged out than Cube's, but what's that got to do with being a greater rapper? Cube never claimed to be a gangbanger or whatever - "I don't bang, I rock the good rhymes". The songs about gangbanging, such as "My Summer Vacation" are cinematic; he's putting himself in some character that he's never really claiming to be.
At the end of the day, I can't tell who should be the greater rapper. Just don't use "realness" as an argument, just because Pac was more gangsta than Cube. That may affect someone's street credibility somewhat, but does it really make you the better rapper?
Pac or Cube? Fuck it, let's call it a draw.
