Im sure this has been asked before...but i dont fuck with the Westcoast section like i used to on here. Wierd cus i only fuck with Westcoast music, but it is what it is...
Who's better on the mic?!
On some real shit, I think I gotta give it to my man Roscoe. Back in the day Kurupt was a beast on the mic. But everytime I listen to em, Roscoe is outshinin him on a track.
-
Roscoe is a dangerous emcee and has been for many years, but I don't think he could ever compare to Kurupt.
Why compare 2 ill emcees and brothers at that though? Both incredible talents.
-
Kurupt is easily better, but when Kurupt is dropping his classic "Fuck a bitch, fucj you nigga shit bitch, Kurupt young gotti hilter fuck a bitch" lines, then Roscoe is better
-
Kurupt.
Roscoe fell off after Philafornia. Which is too damn early into a career to be falling off.
-
Overall Kurupt, but if they're both on a track present day Roscoe will probably kick a better verse

The second album is highly slept on though, I really liked that one.
-
Roscoe. "I Luv Cali" was a sick album. Kurupt's gettin boring these days..hit or miss rapper..
-
kurupt at his finest is easily the better
Roscoe now is better than kurupt now

See thats kinda how I feel. It seems like people think of Kurupt in the 90's...but what does he do now? It just seems like when I hear both of em together, Roscoe always outshines Kurupt. I grew up on Kurupt and all, but too much "fuck a bitch" shit from him nowadays.
-
roscoe. at least he makes sense. kurupt aint said shit in like 12 13 yrs wake the fuck up, he know he burnt out and yaw still in denial. that nigga is wack as fuck
-
I haven't heard too much of Roscoe's music even tho I like the singles I've came across but Imma go with Kurupt.
-
When Kurupt is on point, he takes it. But overall I would say Roscoe
-
but like when was the last time kurupt was on point? what do we even consider on point? is on point a level set in each individuals head so any artist can be on point at anytime considering who's doing the considering? or do we have a certain criterior or bar or standard that we are holding these guys too?

I personally do not hold artists to a bar. If I like it, cool, if I don't, I leave it alone. For Kurupt, I liked his verses on the Penagon compilation, Frank & Jess, Same Day Different Shit, and a couple other joints. Is it Death Row worthy material? No, but I still enjoy it.
