Title: Dj Quik - Let's get down - new remix 2010
Post by: drunkenfool on October 04, 2010, 06:41:27 PM
this is on the Xmix Urban series 143 that just came out. nothing spectacular, but I figured I would share. This is off a DJ mix cd, so it has really long beat intro/outro's for those who aren't in the know.

It's official as that it was done by Xmix, it's not a fan made mix if that's what you are asking. Very similar to the Funkymix remix of it. Xmix and Funkymix are professional remix services.

Right, so since they provide "professional service"  it's an official remix, that's your logic. I see...

This forum is going down-hill by the day i say

This isn't new at all. X-Mix has been putting a throwback on their releases for the past 2 years at least. This first appeared on X-Mix 15. Companies like X-Mix and Funkymix are required to get label permission for any songs they put out so in a sense they are official BUT for the most part all they do is add some intros, outros, fx, and new drums for easy blending and so they sound better in the clubs.
