After giving the world an introduction to their music on the mixtape "House Shoe Musik Vol. 1" with DJ Crazy Toones, Bad Lucc, Damani and Soopafly, better known as the group Westurn Union, are ready to finally unleash the first single off their upcoming album "Westurn Union".
Those of you who downloaded "House Shoe Musik" already know what the trio from Watts, Inglewood and Long Beach is capable of, but they're turning it up another notch for the album! We've got the Dirty and Clean versions of the song right here for ya'll to check out.
The track is also self titled, "Westurn Union", and features Daz Dillinger and BJ The Chicago Kid, who you already heard doing his thing on "All Night". Of course, the track is produced by Soopafly himself. Check it out below:

The video to the song is being filmed today, so look out for that on dubcnn as soon as it's ready! The official "Westurn Union" album is set to drop in August through Doggystyle/Koch Records.
Westurn Union are, as you probably know by now, about to hit the road with Snoop Dogg and the rest of the crew for the West Fest Tour, so if you get the chance, make sure to catch them performing the song live! We'll keep you updated on any developments as far as the album, so stay tuned!

Loving this song. The thing I'm really feeling about Westurn Union is they make music that makes me feel good. Gets me amped, makes me wanna party. You can tell they putting their heart into the shit too. Keep it up guys.

They can make that feel good music, gangsta shit, and vice versa but I like the fact that no matter what the music has that westcoast sound and westcoast pride thats been missing for a while. I also like the fact that they get on all these goofy ass, fly by night, southern one hit wonder rappers that are getting pumped out like theyre being made on an assembly line in some factory. After I heard the mixtape I was already in anticipation of the album but this single just got me even more anxious. Keep up the good work fellas.

Wow! Awesome song. Soopafly comes correct once again. Does this man ever stop making hits? My ears were at full arousal the whole time while listening to this. This is probably the 3rd best Westurn Union song i've heard, besides All Night and Cali Grown. Pretty tricky how Lucc and Damani integrated their verses in with Soopafly verses, so we couldn't fast forward to the Soopafly verses like we used to be able to do in other songs. Pretty smart on their part, it makes us Soopafly fans listen to the whole thing, so props on that. I'm glad Daz brought his A game on this track and dropped a hot verse. He's hit or miss sometimes, but he really steps it up when Soopafly's in the booth showing him how it's done. This is a perfect summertime cruising song...Fly knows that's what we want. I'm going to be bumping this all over town to begin promoting their CD. I know i've said it before, but this just reinforces what I knew all along, Soopafly is a rap god! 15 years and this man is still producing straight fire!!!! Ahh, it's such a good day today!! It's all sunny outside, and bumpin this song around town just tops it all off!

Like when Fly's album Willie Dynamite was just about to drop. Fly was on Snoop's latest single "Losing Control" and was getting a major buzz, then Snoop just axes the whole album. Then Fly produces the best song on Rhythm and Gangsta (Tha Business) and the way Snoop pays him back is he gives him no production on Ego Trippin. Then after Soopafly drops the underground classic "Bangin Westcoast" album, he's getting a major buzz again. Then, instead of dropping a solo album, Snoop decides it'd help Fly's career to stick him with 2 guys who are for all intents and purposes rookies in the rap game as far as hits are concerned. Then snoop thought to himself "thank god, now Soopafly's out of my hair, he'll be weighed down by those 2 other guys and now I can concentrate on my country music career". But now Soopafly is like a phoenix rising from the ashes and he's making Westurn Union blow up....the man that Snoop left for dead is now riding right on his heels again. It'll be interesting to watch Snoop to see how he tries to get himself out of this one....i'm sure he'll think of something.

If the formula works, why change it up? He's bringing a fresh new sound to westcoast music. When alot of these guys are trying to make Westcoast music sound like the south or whatever shit is hot right now, Fly is reinventing the Westcoast sound by integrating some of what made it great back in the 90's and adding a new modern feel to it. No one else is doing what he is doing in the game right now. He's an innovator. That's why I compared him to NWA, as they were innovators back in the late 80's and breaking down barriers, now Fly is doing the same thing today and breaking down the barriers set up by these shitty artists like Soulja Boy.

If anything, he seen the potential of what could happen having Damani and Lucc and Fly in 1 group together. And looks at the results.
