As for teh suga free hatas...come one let's be real. He ain't one of the worse outta that west...he ain't top 5, but he has contributed a lot and even without Quik behind him he still doing his thang. His production may not be on point anymore, but his lyrics and content has stayed consistently strong. To me he ain't that much different thatn he was when he first dropped...the only thing that is different is his beat selection (that is trash).

4) annoying personality

You think Xzibit raps about his life? He lives in a fucking mansion with kids and a family. Whether you like Suga Free or not, he's on of the only REAL rappers on the planet. He lives in Pomona, he's not rich, he makes music about his CURRENT life situations.
And yes, Suga Free does need good beats, but so does every rapper.
Konndict project wasn't even an official Suga Free album. Please, go listen to "Unreleased" or "Fuckin wit you" or "Sexy Thang" from Sunday School, and say HIS FLOW, is wack. Listen to the New Testement or Street Gospel and say the rapping is wack.
Give me a break you haters, in my personal opinion, Suga Free is the best rapper. He's a real person. Not some actor like Xzibit or The Game, who have millions of dollars and rap for the money. He's underground, making music to make music. He doesn't do it for the money.
Suga Free's hooks are not on point anymore. His lyrics are weak without dope production CARRYING them. He's a boring emcee, he's not set apart from any one. Off beat flow with the same nonsensical abc raps... Wow what a dope emcee.

Quik produced his first two albums. Great production. Freeze and Blaqthoven produced Just Add Water. Good production. And J-Steez produced Secret Congregation, and Sunday School. IMO J-Steez beats these days >>>>>> Quik's beats in the last few years. Suga Free has ALWAYS had good production. Listen to those songs I named above, and say he's wack.

I haven't cared about Eiht for a while, his releases have not been captivating and he sounds bored with rap. Ya Boy still has that hunger and is ripping tracks. I got a lot of respect for the "pioneers" of west coast rap, but some of these guys work too hard on rushing albums out or doing collaborations but don't bring anything new to the table. Also, there's no reason you can't like old and new artists. Good music is good music, regardless of what genre or era it is from.

Somehow, before reviewing the replies on this thread I knew what rappers the majority of ya'll were gonna pick as the "wackest artists on the west coast". But this brings me back to the fact that most people in society choose the obvious, most acceptable answer due to blind choice. Now don't get me wrong, each individual has a right to choose what artist/music they enjoy listening to ,but what bothers me here is that there seems to be a pattern in which there are followers, leading to the same conclusion. I mean, it seems as though if most people choose the right/more acceptable preference, then most will follow the "winning team". I noticed most people conducted this opinion poll/thread answers based on either commercialized or "underground popular rappers" out there hence today or back in the day when the west coast was on demand. When certain response's were given I noticed how judgmental and defensive some of ya'll became. It's good to see some of ya'll keepin' it real despite other's stamp of approval, although I would like to address those of you who are either young or young minded to be mature about the topic's at hand and show some respect on to other's, via our west coast rapper's and/or the fan's who represent them
