Looked more like they haven't seen him in so long, especially for some of them (DAZ). I know when I haven't seen someone in years i'm probably gonna be the same way.
Either way, anyone take note of what they were talking about at the end? Kurupt was telling Dre they all gotta get back in the studio as long as it's Dre & Snoop, and Dre agreed and said some shit about Thursday.

Great video. This is the first step to patching things up and smashing out new bangers. Been waiting a loooong time for this to happen. Hopefully they called up RBX and Rage and The Glove and Coline Wolfe. 8) Damn, if anything could turn Detox into a real album, it's a moment like this. Fingers crossed. One thing about Daz is, even though he's socially awkward, he puts out albums on the regular, so maybe having him around will give Dre the inspiration and knowledge on how to start releasing some bangers. I mean this from a business perspective. Daz puts out a lot of music whereas Dre sits on everything, so having Daz around might unclog Dre's blockage.

1. Don't really care bout this, but it looks stupid on him.
2. I think the steroids are the reason he doesn't have the inspiration to produce classic hip hop tracks. I think steroids are not a good drug for an artist. I think it makes a person less creative. All the power goes to the muscles. Now weed, that's a perfect drug for an artist becuz it makes you creative and it gives inspiration. Just look at it, 2007 is when Dre first started to look the Hulk right?
Before 2007: 99% of the Dre produced tracks are very good or classic.
2007-2011: Only average and even wack tracks produced by the D.R.E. Relapse had some nice tracks, but for Dre productions they're still average to me. Nothing on Relapse made me go :o

agreed...it seems to me snoop and them have fun recording. while 50 and em are both sober ...em did seem fun in beginning ...real boring angry music now. Dres at his best in a party atmosphere.

Dre, Snoop, Warren, Kurupt, Daz and Soopafly = this is the FOUNDATION right here. Maybe this'll help Dre get his head on straight when it comes to making music again. I want all of them to have an appearance on Detox, even if it's one verse. Everybody should get a verse out of this I'd hope. It'll make for a lot of DOPE collaborations and still waiting on the Dre/Warren G collabo!

That seemed hella awkward. It seemed like one of those situations where you and a group of your friends are chillin and some dude rolls up that nobody really likes, but rather than say anything they all stand around quietly. Except this dude happens to be a mega multi millionaire who could set any of these guys for life with a smash hit or a feature, so of course they have to smile an shit.
And really, I doubt they would make some dope shit if they hit the studio anyway. Chemistry isn't there. No puffin on blunts pt. 2 here.

Kurupt is everybody's best friend in the industry. he always goes out of his way to kick it with rappers he respects, from east to west. a homie of mine actually met him through daddy v and he told me he's like the friendliest dude there is. and unlike the others from the pound he never actually dissed Dre, always shouted him out and showed him respect in interviews, even when he was back with tha row. so it's only natural Dre's more friendly with him than with Daz or Soopafly.

Yeah I get that impression. Kurupt seems to be that link that ties them all together, obviously aside from Snoop/Warren always being affiliated. Kurupt is cool with EVERYBODY. On this subject here though. Come on, we hear Snoop and Daz doing records. Snoop and Kurupt. Daz and Kurupt. We never hear Warren G on anybody's shit. What's with that?

Warren just is the odd one out. Just listen to that 213 freertyle from 04. Warren still poppin that 'A. B. C. It's Mister Warren G' shit. You can tell Nate loved him cuz he was always trying to recover the freertyle after..and not make Warren look silly.
Dudes got massive heart but his persona on the mic is more of a good kid rather than a gangsta.

I got nothing but love for Warren, but he doesn't stick up for himself. Every time someone (e.g. an interviewer) asks Warren if he's going to work with this artist or that artist, he always says the same thing. "You gotta ask him man" Have you asked them Warren? I want Dre and Warren with verses on the same track. I want a G-Dub beat on a Snoop album. Send 'em beats some beats or something.

Well that's kind of what Warren did he went to Def Jam to put out his solo which went platinum. Warren sold more records than Kurupt, Daz etc.. people forget it.
And he did his own thing with the Twins, Dove shack, producing various artists. Went to Europe to do his own shows.
So he did his own thing but there was no need to beef or cut ties with DPG. Too bad for DPG they didn't fuck more with Warren, because for example he brought Nate Dogg 2 of his best songs, Regulate, Nobody does it better, and I remember him producing "After Dark" an unreleased song which when I hear it was the dopest that Snoop been on since a long time.
Warren just been underrated by his own pals, and it seems like he didn't push much to do songs with them.
