Safe + Sound is my fac quik album...the prodution had dat westcoast p funk cruisin type of vibe 2 it...and his style of rapping had def improved and was updated with the west coast gangsta flow at the time and as far is doggystyle album well it's doggystyle enough said lol, but I've listened 2 Safe + Sound a lot more and both records are really not 2 far fetch from eachother they both have p funk basslines, well dre and snoop would've called it g funk, westcoast style all n all. It's hard 2 compare the 2 but I sure most people would choose doggystyle since it was more of a popular/well known album sale wise and critical, but ne1 who knows good music wouldn't sell safe + sound short otherwise why call it safe + sound.

Safe & Sound is one of my favorite Quik albums, but if I had to choose one it would be Doggystyle, that album was put Long Beach on tha map!

Damn that's so hard to decide. I gotta go with Doggystyle, only because I know it for years, I ''get to'' DJ Quik's albums couple weeks ago. But I love Quik even more than Snoop, because I don't really like what's Snoop putting out right now. But Quik is Quik in every period you trying to think about. Honestly, Quik stayed Quik, you know what I mean.

I only heard Safe & Sound for the first time a couple of months ago,
and although its a really good album, Doggystyle has got 2 be one of
the best albums i've ever heard, i first heard it back in 94 and still listen
to it once every couple of weeks

westside159,lol ur obviously stupid, it was never asked what album sold more only what was preferred. Here is a q jus 4 u, what was your favorite between backstreet boys - millenium or n'sync self titled album??? lol many garbage ass albums have sold millions, were talkin bout quality not quantity jus because an album is underground and doesn't get a lot of radio play doesn't mean it's not a good record...many people jus like 2 listen 2 music that has no meaning and that doesn't take much talent 2 create and so alot more people like ur self can relate 2 it.

Doggystyle is way better to me, Safe + Sound is a great album and all that includes a classic diss track & some nice laid-back production, but for some reason I actually find myself listening to "Trauma" more than Safe + Sound.

Huh?! No disrespect but I don't understand how everybody act like Safe + Sound is legendary, it is true that it has some bangers on it but it has some fillers on it too.
Although it sounds good to me I can't put it up next to Doggystyle...
