There will be an immage change and that it is the beginning of a promotion, when Missionary comes out in the near future, they will make the follow-up album of Doggystyle more adult. I don't think that the concept of doggystyle will do it again, Snoop was in his twenties back then, now he is a businessman and a role model, I can also be wrong, but the post looks more like marketing and what will come

Daz is really into the legal money sqabbles and battles... I really hope Reggie gets one of those music/entertainment lawyers on his show to break down how all the money is and was supposed to be allocated for Death Row because it doesn't really make sense with me.
To me it seemed all the artists were well paid on Death Row for the most part, but a lot of that shit doesn't make sense to me. The funniest one is this supposed point system I used to hear about that an artist gets paid when their song is played on radio?? That makes zero sense because a song could be played 100 years from now so how is a label supposed to afford to pay the artist 100 years from now and that label might not even exist anymore. And any radio DJ could just spin a song on repeat 1,000 times and then now you gotta fork over money to the artist? And now radio is gone and it's all internet and free downloading so I don't even see how anyone makes any money anymore since the digital game took over.
The G Unit Era was the last great and final era when the economics of rap or (hip-hop in general but that's a larger discussion) made sense to me. But really you could go back a few years earlier to 2000 and NAPSTER was kind of the death of the industry. Sure, Eminem sold 1.7 million first week but I remember everyone I knew at my school (except me because I was a die hard fan) just downloaded the album and playing it everywhere everyone was listening to it and not a single person I knew actually bought the cd. So Em did 1.7 million first week but what if that really would've been 3 million first week if it was 1998??

I always wondered about the drug use that went on in the 90s by rappers who were on top but only claimed to smoke weed. Obviously there was a lot more going on at the time but it wasn't promoted in the lyrics and music like weed was. Half of Hollywood is on coke but it's rarely mentioned until another washed up celebrity decides it's time to go to rehab and come clean.

..that being said when Daz had dropped Dogg Food and turned right around and producing epic history making bangers with Pac on All Eyez On Me—-he deserved to be regarded in his own right—but honestly he stilll wasn’t. It’s not like they say “okay I have an album coming out so now I need to go to the studio.” No they are just sitting around recording anytime and linking up at times and making songs just like you and your friends get together every now and then and hang out they get together and hang out and make songs.
Then all the fuccing idiots start saying “oh Em and Dre back in the studio making an album”, “Snoop and Dre in the studio making an album”
They just recording songs and making ideas and maybe they have an idea for an album they always got ideas—anyone can have an idea—but even Master P had a million “ideas” that he talked about in 98’ that never came out… it’s just fuccing ideas that’s all it is

If he wanted it so bad, he could’ve bought the record label with his own money, it was changing hands for fun for years or chase it up with previous owners, his cousin bought it and instead to be patient and work it out, he’s acting like a teenager all over again

Rappers announce projects to keep fans onboard when they themselves don't even know if they will release something. That in itself is a marketing ploy.
