TI always comes dope IMO. A true Dirty South emcee. If you ain't feelin' their music, then you ain't gonna feel TI's shit.

I once downloaded "Trap Muzik" from mIRC, but it was a fucked up version so I never really listened to it, actually I wanted to download the proper version... but never did it :-\ I only heard good reviews too so I'll have to check him out too. Somebody please tell us how his first album was.

^^ lol you piss taking bastard... you want people to sit up n notice southern hiphop when they show a little interest (or knowledge) you appear to have fun in cutting them down...

...now take your "massive" list of good southern crunked up artists....compare that to the amount of "great" artists from the east or west....

...sorry but lots of people are oblivious to things until they are pointed or or become apparent...

like ive said before bro...you got a lot of knowledge....why dont you sometimes share it more often..in this section or album reviews etc ... scholar us in your wisdom...bathe us in your brilliance...shine on us like the one true light that we all need in our hearts..

..ok im going a bit far...but ya get me ?

i bought the first album when it came out because "I'm serious" was a dope ass track...and i was very impressed with the album...TI really rips it...my top 3 tracks are:

Still Ain't Forgave Myself
I'm Serious (feat. Beenie Man)
Chose U (feat. Jazze Pha)

also check out Hotel (feat. Too Short) & Dope Boyz...dope ass tracks...TI is a great artist...if you want to get a good sense of the way his music sounds get the first album. you'll be impressed.

The fuck? Who's playing victim here? Ain't nobody cutting anyone down. Homeboy said there was few artist Down South that could bust, I showed him a good sized list of Southerners that could. Really had nothing to do with you. Why stick your nose in it Gonz?

That was just a mere list. Off the top of the dome. I didn't sit there and go digging. Trust, it can be a lot bigger.

That's why they shouldn't speak on em unless they know.

For the sheer fact of ignorance. Whenever I posted about the South, I had the same two or three people who would contribute, it would get slept on. Aside from the few contributions, so many ignorant people would bring nothing but negative views. Much like the people in here, who OBVIOUSLY haven't heard much of the South aside from what BET plays. So, I don't bother.

I didn't get the purpose of your post. I was dropping knowledge and you got all upset. Stay outta my business unless you got a full grasp of what's going on.

He had an album late last year. He's on Rap-A-Lot, so that should explain it.

T.I. kinda changed.. he used to rap with a more Eastcoast style, but then Southern slang became "in", and he was all with it.. hmmm..  :-\

Oh yeah, now SGV is gonna reply with "Southern slang was always "in"...", but he changed, I know that much.

He sounded like that to me since he first came out. He's the same emcee to me that he was on "I'm Serious."

"You need a track from God featuring Jesus or Jay-Z"

LOL. For a rookie, he was real cocky.
