It's a damn shame that The Lady of Rage only released one album and didn't have a chance to finish it with Dre.  She is still spitting it.

This is a real good summer and west coast feeling, to have coming from Daz and Kurupt, if they can keep pushing the line with the feel good songs they can definitely spend more next time around.

Profit and Loss can be strong for the way Snoop set it up for them, everything is in house and they can recoup and start to be a business themselves again.

Snoop gave them the same treatment he gave BODR and I wanna thank me… good to see the Visualizers on YouTube been enjoying that for the crib

Daz and Kurupt were lost in the sauce for a bit (Daz really doesn’t apply more so Kurupt) but seeing them get a chance to be on podcasts and platforms like iheartmedia with big boy and power 106 again is good too

The singles are big and hopefully can catch some rotation and til tok follow with my favorite color blue

With the momentum I can see this be a bigger project to benefit from - kurupt I wish would get that old flame back but Daz energy and the production is so LA I love rolling through the streets and freeway the last two days to this

I feel younger like when Daz RR&GB and Kuruption! Dropped same streets and freeways but I had a discman and headphones and on the bus 🚌 traveling from home to school and shit

Props to them for this track ( LA kind of Love sticks out in the ride but damn Premo and DPG/Chronic 92 Crew to end it out as was classic)

Props to Rick Rock for slapping his shit for them and Mike and Keys for helping Daz and Kurupt he been dropping heat with the young west coast artist and Dave East good to see them get strong support from him.

Really solid and the reply value is good cuz it ain’t a shit load of songs to listen to, short and sweet .. dope
Intro too ..

Feels good to be this old and see a Re-Run of these two …

imo it's a pretty decent album - it has good production, some good hooks & kurupt sounds better then he has the last few years. but also a lot of songs sounds rushed. 'favourite color blue' and 'smoke up' for example, those are really good tunes - but could've have used an extra verse. why didn't snoop dropped a verse on 'fav color blue' for example?

also those video's they did for the singles... are they too lazy to actually record a decent video on another location then snoop's compound or his parking lot?? and why is dababy on there?

feels like a lost opportunity to actually a really good album, again

Good good, they need any type of encouragement out there to keep doing it.

I actually like the album but it’s more like those welcome to the chuuuch mixtapes which were also dope as hell

This is nostalgic - not a great song by any means, average in fact but it’s extremely nostalgic and does sound like a real Eminem first single - almost reminds me of why we all hated Eminem first singles at one stage past real slim shady apart from lose yourself - I can imagine this blowing up for a while and then dying down due to nostalgia but not being a very good song. This aint even close to fucking with joints like euphoria or not like us. However it has huge nostalgic value and it’s a nice reminder of his better days. He hasn’t released an album worth listening top to bottom since Eminem show so maybe he got something this time. Dre involved too supposedly.

On a side note if you check his IG and the comments - you can see how embarrassing his fan base is/has become and the demographics of it real quick. They don’t know shit about hiphop

Yeah I noticed a lot of his new fans are more familiar with Em post Relapse. It was around Recovery/ MMLP2 when he started rapping in his new style. Like sccit said there’s hints of that in the new single but he’s clearly striving for the old em and we get hints of it when he does that layered harmonizing briefly in verse 2 I think. And the chorus. I think Em still has potent for that vintage sound if Dre is involved

Also it seems like Em hijacked the missionary album with his and Dre has been very supportive and involved with Em album. Ever since Dre announced the Em album missionary was over

Such a crime that Soopafly isn't on this album at all.  He is just as much DPGC if not more than the others guest spots.

Word.

First impression…
Good beats overall, loving the Rick Rock tracks and the Jelly Roll.  Not a lot of substance lyrically… except the last track.  Dpgc killed it on the Premo track. The hardest is Rage and RBX and Kurupt comes with that vintage style.  This song will be on repeat.

Very fast tempo and short songs - 3 mins around or less.  This has a rushed feeling, lots of tracks about parties, clubs, after parties, etc.
