this cd is the album of the year for me so far.. every song is tight..ive been bumping it front to back since it came out..i would even go as far and call it a classic what do you all think am i over rating this cd?
-
its pretty good....not for everyone tho...I personally think its a great album but some of my friends arent into that kinda thought provoking shit.
-
The word classic is thrown around too much. So much it loses all meaning.
-
yeah its a dope album, not the best of the year though. there's like 3 or 4 tracks that i dont really like.... and like plant said its not for everyone
-
One of the best of the year. Not a classic though. Good music though
-
its alright. feels kinda forced like "my music is so epic and intellectual" on some kanye type shit. but the rhymes and beats are good. oh and for everybodyt hinking lupe is all social concious muslim hero, back in the day e was doing generic gangsta bullshit, find the song "pop pop"
-
not crack. it doesnt get the thumbs up from me. but it doesnt get thumbs down.

Finally a rapper with lyrics, hard to find these days in the mainstream. He debuted at number 12. I was actually pleased with that because I've never heard him on the radio before. And without any radio play to land at number 12 that's not bad in this age of downloading. I'm going to buy the album later to support Muslim artists.
-
^how could you hear him on the radio bryan your religion doesn't tolerate the sex and misogony that takes place in those heathens music
-
*downloading it* comments the album later

I own the album.
I personally only really love 4 songs
the rest are average...or the production just ruins the fuckin song
