Title: It's fuckin FIREFOX

WHY does that shit pause and freeze and take 6 hours loading after the first 8 minutes of being on it??? SHITS AS SLOW AS MOLASSES!!!!!!!!!

And WHY when you press the X it takes forever to shut down?? Internet Explorer shuts off as soon as I exit it. Firefox runs foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Sounds like you should do a full uninstall, and re-install Firefox 3.6 beta, which is fast as hell.  8)

Something messed up your Firefox install, might be some plug-in that doesn't close properly.
