I don't know, I give the edge to Cube but B-Real dissed the hell out of them too. That line B had I'm a Mac 11, which means I am a higher caliber mc on Ice Cube Killa was tight. Cube and Cypress are like my favorites of all time so I really did not want to see them beefing like that, but it is squashed so it's all good.

be grateful, most people aren't so lucky to see those they consider most skilled pitted against each other. on an artistic/competitive tip, shit is dope.

who narrated this shit? is this from qdIII's beef vids or what?

can youtube vids only be 5 minutes or what? is that why this was split into 3?

Hm, I think it was a misunderstanding...for example...I think, at least at the time this shit went down, african american west coast rappers tended to think any phrase is just a phrase but a song is a song(snoop and e-40 joke around about it but they don't really have any issues resentment about who make that izzle/eezy shit all big, and as long as they ain't jackin a whole song from each other, it's just a phrase to them whereas cypress feels anything borrowed without permission is jacked). That hook is generic "throw your blank in the air like you don't care"....I think cypress overreacted.  their line is just a variation on a chant used since the 70's in the earliest hip-hop.

LMAO at Hip hop hippies...shit is true, but I consider myself a hip hop hippie and fuck it why not? I'd rather post up at the cypress hill coffee shop in amsterdam than shoot or be shot at in LA.

i see where mack 10's comin' from, but I personally don't support my friend's actions when I think they are wrong.

Yeah but if you watch that beef dvd, B Real also said that it sounded like he jacked more of their material also when he guest appeared on the Kausion album. So apparently there was enough biting that Cypress did not like that shit. Mack 10 was the new crew member so he wanted to show he was down for Cube and I actually was cool with it. You could tell with that beef there was no half stepping. They was playing for keeps on both sides. People sleep on Cypress Hill, B-Real in particular, but they had lyrics for days. I think it is the voice that turns people off and they do not listen to the lyrics.

I remember when the beef went down, kids was fighting it out in the schools and shit, it was even on the news. Things were seriously heated for awhile.
