Truck Volume, Break Ya Neck ( off "Genesis" )
what about "Holla" ?
.... dope, it got released on my birthday ;D
-
Hahaha, nah I'm not tryna fuck with Jome's work. It's just the 1999-present timeline of Dre tracks that have been released on albums, and a couple of them only released on CD singles. I dig statistics in music, so I just put this list together for reference, I guess. Glad ya'll like it. A couple of interesting facts on this stuff:
# of beats released per year
1999 ( 24 )
2000 ( 14 )
2001 ( 19 )
2002 ( 17 )
2003 ( 15 )
2004 ( 11 )
2005 ( 10 )
Altogether in those 7 years, a total of 110 tracks were officially released. 71 of them are directly related to Aftermath\Shady\G-Unit. Who has been on the most beats:
01. Dr. Dre ( 30 )
02. Eminem ( 28 )
03. 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg ( 16 each )
04. Nate Dogg, Xzibit & Hittman ( 10 each )

lol, he's a lazy cunt, went from doing multiple albums with Ruthless in the 80's to doing less than a beat a month haha
Hopefully that changes when Detox comes around.
-
Well, I would suppose that it's typical for Dre to lay low for a while, before dropping his record. Busta is set to come out in April or May, hopefully. I saw the MTV Grammy Special a few weeks back, where The Game announced that "The Doctor's Advocate" is to be released on June 6, 2006. Game made reference to that "666" theory, you know with the play on words shit, Devils Advocate, Doctors Advocate. He said him and Dre are gonna drop something "angelic" that day. A June release date for Game would be real nice.
-
Props,Jome aint gonna like this though :P
-
game isn't coming out in june, the album would have to be finished already. busta will probably be delayed to then.
-
i see detox december game in october, busta in august!
-
Good Idea, Props!

*Updated*
-
nice
these track from Busta's album should be added though
feat. Raekwon - Goldmine (Co-produced with Erick Sermon)
feat. Rick James - In The Ghetto (Co-produced with DJ Green Lantern)
feat. Stevie Wonder - Been Through The Storm (Co-produced with Sha Money XL & Black Jeruz)
also "Intro" from "The Last Meal"
-
Has Joe Beast's "Gangsta" been confirmed?
-
Yeah, the list would be a little more lengthy if I added tracks that Dre did additional production on or mixed, but for now I'ma keep the list at just the stuff that he either produced or co-produced as credited in the booklets. Good lookin out on that though.
I read somewhere that "Gangsta" was produced by Dre and that it was taken off the official soundtrack and added onto the bonus sampler at the last minute. Still, if someone could find concrete information it would help...though I'm sure Dre would do at least one beat on the Aftermath half of the disc.
-
well Dre co-produced the Busta tracks so...?
-
I dunno, some songs have Dre as doing "additional production" and others, like "Bad Intentions" have him up as official co-producer...
-
I think it's basically the same thing, Dre's input was obviously influential enough for him to be credited, supposedly it was Dre who brought in the orchestra for "Been Through The Storm" so I think they should be up there.
-
Aight, good call...I'll just add all the tracks he's worked on and label them accordingly.
*Updated*...again :P
-
didn't think you were going to put up all the tracks he mixed, nice work - props 8)
-
You missed St8 Westcoast Remix ( off the "L.A. Confidential Presents Knoc-Turn'al EP" )
-
Great list man.
You forgot Mobb Deep feat 50 Cent - Nightmares
-
That has not been officially released on anything.
-
Yeah, "Nightmares" was never officially released. As far as the Str8 West Coast Remix, I'm not counting tracks where the beat is still the same even though the version is different. That's why material like the Fast Lane Remix or the Setup Remix aren't listed...
-
I don't see the point/need for this thread... is it just to have a overview of Dre's post-2001 work.. ??
-
Pretty much, almost like a timeline of Dre material officially released in recent years.
-
Great stuff Larrabe, dont worry about Jome hes just jelaous :P
I think you should add the unffoicials too.
-

- TONY YAYO - Live by the gun (2005)

I can easily see how someone could confuse those tracks.
-
I don't see the point/need for this thread... is it just to have a overview of Dre's post-2001 work.. ??
I see the need for this.. it puts Dre's productions in Chronological order which will help me out with trying to make a mix cd of all the tracks he's produced so I can listen to how his beats have changed over the years.
Props for all your work Larrabee
-
No doubt homie, I'll be updating it once I get hold of the booklets for Jay's new album + Snoop's.
