Yeah, wouldn't surprise me at all if Dre ended up signing Warren to Ruthless if he would've stuck around.  Very interesting to think about indeed.  Not sure where Snoop would've ended up or if he would've become anything without Dre recruiting him in the war with Eazy.  To me, he's the wild card.  Dre was desperate and needed new talent for Death Row.  He might've signed Snoop to Ruthless but he would've been on his own.  He may have blown up, or may have been another Steffon or Yomo and Maulkie where Dre produced one song for his album and that was it and faded off into the sunset after that.

Wasnt snoop and Warren not working with above the law for black mafia life hence them stealing some of thier cadence and beat ideas?

that’s not my point

the rollout for eminem albums are far more concentrated .. snoop is a global icon .. the fact that we are surprised that a project his name is attached to hits #9 on itunes charts speaks volumes …. his stature alone should be good for a #1

Eminem as a bigger and stronger fan base than Snoop. Em has a pop audience and a major machine backing him up. Although Snoop may be the most famous rapper alive, it is based on popularity and not music. It even feels like he is independent. It feels like they are mainly pushing the name and the brand, and using the music purposely for that matter. Nice to see DPG being talked about though, but in a few weeks the hype will die.

the best song on mmlp2 was brainless

which is better than this new joint

No argument there, "Brainless" was spectacular.  Almost like an update of "Brain Damage" that actually improved on the original.  Unlike this track that is not even half of "Without Me."

Drowning is the safest way, because if the attempt is unsuccessful you just try again the next time (rather than spending the rest of your life as a vegetable).

when I was working as an ass wiper in the medical field I remember one day I took care of a guy who shot himself but survived.  I even read a story about a guy who survived a jump from the Golden Gate Bridge.  See they've made such things illegal actually, they even have rescue teams at the golden gate bridge—and you probably remember the famous case of Dr. Jack Kavorkian who tried got busted for performing assisted suicides.

But ask yourself a question.  If you are not even free to choose how you die then how are you a free man?  A free man can choose when and how he dies.

I took care of residents in nursing homes who spent the last years of their life trying to escape the facility.  But it's a locked facility.  So they walk from one side of the hall to the other asking, "how do I leave" and the nurses, just repeat, "Go to your room Al" and ignore the guy.

Is this a free man?  He lives like a prisoner for the end of his life but what crime did he commit?

who says u gota be like that??

in that case then I agree.  See, higheyecue and I thought you meant something else.

Yeah... I thought his format on MMLP2 was good.  Because he had a song like Rap God where he did what you call "hippityhop" by fitting as many rhymes in each bar, showing how fast he could rap.

But then he had other songs like "Legacy" or "Stronger than I Was" where the goal was just to make a great song, not trying to outdo another rapper lyrically or to gain credibility with headz in some sort of Top 5 MC's all time argument.
