84 wins hands down against 96 everytime.
Now the worst draft has to be the 2000, what a god awful draft that was.
-
no doubt, its got to be 1996.......that was a crazy draft year!
-
Yea 1984 was the best year in history...George Orwell might not have been accurate with what happened in 1984, but damn that year was the shit. L.A. Olympics, good NBA draft, I was born, damn the list keeps goin...
I think 2003 draft has been the best since 96.
-
as of now the '84 looks better but i think 10 yrs down the line when the players from the '96 draft have retired and all thier accomplishments are realized then the '96 might be just as good if not a better draft yr than '86

Cot damn....you coulda mentioned Jerome Kersey for the 84 class, he definitely had a long and decent career, especially to be drafted THAAT fuckin low. I remember Eric Turner too.

Yea, Jerome Kersey was good, he was even a Laker at one point. I only highlighted the players from the 1996 2nd round though, I was tryna show its overall significance.

Imo the 96 draft wins every time
-
michael redd was that low in the 2nd round?! damn what a lucky ass steal for milwaukee
-
I always wonder, how do picks who are that low end up slipping that far in the draft, like Mike Redd, Jason Williams, Nick Van Exel?
I would assume that many of them may have had problems in college as far as their attitude, and some of them just ended up at the wrong school or behind the wrong player. Many of them probably do realize that they have to work 5 times as hard to prove themselves since they are so low in the draft. But damn, I look at some drafts and see who was picked over who, and even though I am not a scout, it still baffles me from time to time.
