I guess Dre is just not that tuned in to rap from the Bay Area. Plus I can't see E-40's style meshing well with Dr. Dre beats, but they could have at least experimented with it by now.

I personally don't think these guys would sound good together. I'm sure both of them knew that. I just can't envision E40 on a Dre beat....doesn't work to me but then again I guess we'll never know.

No idea. Haven’t heard from him in years. I was just listening to Savage C the other day, a bay rapper he used to be cool with. Don’t sleep on Northern Cali. Very comparable to Southern California as far as quality goes
