Title: Better Commedian: Rock or Tucker?

for me this one is tough because friday is my favorite movie.  no movie that chris rock has been in has even come close.  but on the other hand, rock's stand up is better.  so what do yall think?

I just voted Chris Rock too.. his standup is better.. he was dope in New Jack City and CB4.. he kinda going the eddie murphy route at the moment.. if you think about how murphy just did 2 Shrek movies.. and rock just did that Madagascar.. plus they worked together on Beverly Hills Cop II

in reality Chris Rock has done waaaaaaay more movies than tucker.. check out imdb  31 vs 9

Rock is way better and more consistent.  Chris Tucker is a funny muthafucka, but where the fuck has he been?  He hasn't been in a movie since Rush Hour 1 and 2.

Chris Rock is the better stand up comedian and has a better stage presence.  It's more even in the movies although I think Tucker edges out Rock with that.

im guna say tucker.... like everyone has said rocks the better on stage commedian but as far as movies tucker always gives the better laughs...

I dunno man, I never really liked Chris Rock that much on the movie scene, now his stand-up is funny as hell, but his movies, I never really got into. CB4 is a classic but other than that the movies he been in is aight. Now Tucker, is has been in nothin' but classics. He aint played in many movies, but every movie he had a major role in has been a classic. So:

Stand-Up Comedy=Chris Rock
Movie Roll Comedy=Chris Tucker

i think you should see some of rock's stand up before you make your decision.  at the very least, you should download his last album "never scared."  his best stand up was "bigger and blacker."

I'll pick the dark skinned, skinny, high pitched voice having, loud mothed, obnoxious comedian named Chris.  ;D

I have to go with Mr. Rock. His stand up routines are just priceless. Especially the Bigger and Blacker special. That whole routine is perhaps the funniest stand up routine I've ever seen. Some of the stuff he says will have you crying in laughter. Plus he has the balls to say the craziest shit.

Chris Tucker is funny in movies but the stand up is the staple of a comedian's repetoire. Chris Rock wins that hands down.
