Streaming platforms don't "steal" anyone's data. The data is handed over by subscribers. And not all data collection is some insidious conspiracy plot to turn the world into zombies  ::). Some technology actually exists to make people's lives easier, more efficient and enjoyable. Imagine that...

My issue with streaming is completely unrelated - it has to do with lossy sound quality, which some services are finally starting to address. Also, I personally like owning music - even if it's hi-res files on a hard drive instead of physical copies (mostly because CD standards are good but not the best), which is what I prefer nowadays anyway. Also, I don't want to have to depend on an internet connection to listen to music.

But staying on topic, Jayo should release a hi-res version of his classic album. That would be dope.

The whole project was great. I'm not sure if Jayo is working with Xzibit and that team anymore though, which is a shame.
