Certified Trash. Worst album of the year.
-
^^^ for real? I haven't heard it, I ain't expectin much though, cuz some of the tracks I've heard sound horrible, audio quality included on the "horrible", it's funny how in "Jealousy" he's talking about Daz too, and they still put it on
-
i kept 2 tracks from it and deleted the rest. kurupt just wanted to put an album out to get off deathrow most likely. he was talkin about having Jazzy Pha, and all these artist and producers on the album but he came up empty handed. the album is absolute shit.
-
^^ yikes! :-\ I kinda figured man, that shit is mad bootleg-ish, it sounds like he pulled that shit outta his ass
for real, he probably is depressed that he let 4 years go down the fuckin drain

hell yeah i remember he was sayin lil jon, westside connection, knoc-turn'al, baby, etc etc etc were gonna be on the album
-
would u say this is his worst album then?
-
worst album of the year? nope, this albums isn't bad at all... anyways who can hook me up w/ a quality rip of this album? AIM: Cleverla85

this is not what the west needs...
this album is garbage...
this is the first dpg release I'm not going to buy.
-
It's good i dunno wat u guys r talkin bout, its not up to the standard of space boogie and streetz iz a mutha but its still betta than wat the rest of DPG have put out this year and it totally shits on R&G

better than daz's dogg pound gangsta lp ?
-
this is the version that was converted from 128kbs to VBR...
this is still poor quality
-
i dont think this release is dope. it has a few nice cuts but its is still a dissapointment imo.and its strange that not even the official website has promotion for the album. no tracklist, no ad, not even the cover. only the single as a stream.

Thanks.
Damn, no real rip of this yet.. :-\
-
I bet $100 that it will be ripped this weekend... ;)
-
Not to disrespect Kurupt, but he fell off hard, like a lot of rappers who started in the early 90's. He's past his time.
-
I don't know 'bout y'all...but I really like this album
-
I gave it a 4/5 dope album, not a classic but shit we havent had a west coast classic in years, way better than space boogie but not as good as streetz....i cant stop bumpin slide n slide out and speak on it.
-
this album does not have the support of kurupt. from a very reliable source.

no way man
-
I've only listened to the first half of this album, and I think its pretty good for what it is. I'm just glad the fuckin thing dropped personally, and I had absolutely no expectations for it, so it kinda surprised me by having decent production. ITs not as good as Space Boogie or Streetz though :-\

I don't know how you can rate the best song on there a 2.5
-
i heard only 3 songs off "against the grain" and they were kinda nice. i'm surprised everybody's saying it's complete trash. maybe i heard the good ones...i'll check it out when it drops.
-
even though i think its just average, it shits all over anythnig snoop has released since last meal
-

Well then why did he bother advertising it when he was on the radio the other day with Daz?
-
i have no clue. but i was talking to some of the people that im working with, like snoop and jellys manager and all them were in the studio with kurupt, and kurupt stated that he aint behind the project.. so who knows..
