Part 2 caused an uproar amongst fans due to the comments Snoop Dogg made towards Crooked I, and Crook got to speak his part of the story in an exclusive interview we conducted with him the same day. That was only the second part of our four-part feature on Snoop Dogg.
It's time for Part 3, check it out below:

In Part 3, we start off with the question about The Game and the Change Of Heart tape, and whether Snoop believes that that hurt Game's credibilty. He speaks on Dogghouse producer Terrace Martin and why we're only getting to hear him now, aswell as some more info on "Blue Carpet Treatment", and why he chose to go back to the hood with this one.
The main topic in Part 3 however is Dr. Dre. Snoop goes in depth, tells us how he wishes the good Doctor would come back to the West Coast, and put some New West artists on, as well as his work process, the "Detox" project, and more.
We end this part with the question about Snoop Dogg selling out, and why he chose to do the moves that he did.
Be on the lookout for Part 4, where Snoop talks about working with Pharrell, why he doesn't get Dr. Dre to do his whole record, and what he thinks of people claiming Dr. Dre steals beats from people without giving them their proper credit. We go into detail regarding the production of The Chronic and other Death Row albums, as well as Snoop's views on Dr. Dre, Daz and others as producers.
Snoop Dogg explains why dubcnn is a good way for him to speak his mind compared to other internet companies, and we end the interview with some more words on Spider Loc, 40 Glocc and Crooked I.

Great Interview, especially Part 3! Great questions Nima! I hope Dre'll follow Snoops word, but unfortunately I think that I'll get disappointed cause Dre is to dickheaded to make a whole westcoast record. I can't imagine a Dre record without Eminem, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes and so on these days and that's pitty. Snoop is damn right, cause just imagine you'd get a "Detox" with features like MC Eiht & E-40, str8 fire. Now I'm waiting for part 4, it's gonna be interesting what he gonna say about Pharrell and why he chose to work with him. Sounds good to hear that there's a Battlecat-beat AND an Ice Cube feature in just one song! Props Nima!

Yeah. Maybe a few years ago he wouldn't fuck with Game because of the beef with 50 but now he would. Basically he changed his mentality. He did the same with Pac back in the day.

I'm honestly sick of this east/west shit. Why should sombody limit an album to just one particular coast? That's another great thing that Dre has done... he started with the WC heavy... and moved on to work with people from all over the country. And it's not like he's "abandoned" anything. He put out Game, he's working heavy with Bishop... he's worked with Xzibit and Knoc Turnal...ect. Why are people still bitchin' about him opening his mind and working with artists from a variety of regions? It comes down to the music... not the region.

Damn right, u cannot say that any of Dr. Dre's Beats on a 50 Cent album sounded real westcoast, or on any Eminem, Busta... Even on The Game it just sounds a bit like westcoast cause Game spits it. But Dre has developed an own falvour that u cannot put into an area so he need to ask westcoast MC's if he wants to make a whole westcoast album what i doubt...

Hes talking about how Dre should get Westcoast rappers on Detox, I think after the RNG he has no RIGHT to tell anybody about using more westcoast artist. I have nothing againts other coasts, right now they are makign better music than the West, but its plain shit coming from Snoops mouth.
The Detox in my mind should be a mix of best of both "worlds". Throw some Cube, Bishop, Ren, Crook and some Busta, 50, Em, Rae, Buck... Fuck having wack ass Daz, Kurupt,Mc Eiht on it.
I still think this is all one HUGE promotional tactics from Snoopy.

I actually felt what Snoop said in part 3 of the interview, I agree w/ what he said about Dre although I thought Dre had some standout tracks on The Big Bang which were Dont Get Carried Away, Cocaina, and Get You Some, but overall a good interview Im happy to hear of his plans for his BCT! Snoop said some real shit on there about Dre and how Detox should be, at least how people like US think it should be. And how he shouldn't wait to get his shit rolling, but make his shit roll. That's real talk right there.
And if Blue Carpet comes off all West Coast like he says it's comin' out, ain't nuthin' wrong with that. That's the way it should be.

Good 2 c Snoop talkin bout Dre mixin tracks and the way he makes other producers tracks stand out, but I do think that he had some good beats on Big Bang!

Another great chapter in the interview.
What Snoop said about the Game was truth. That 'gangbang 101' song is gonna be some tuff west coast shit.
Snoops's info on how Dre works was awesome.
Snoop spoke about Dre like his homie and not some groupie or other artists afraid to voice thier opinions even about the great Dre.
Smart move in having Dre go over 'Blue Carpet', D.O.C hanging around with Dre so hopefully he gets to check it n all.
Snoops right about Dre's drive for music.
He should stop with all these projects here n there and produce full albums again.

About Dre coming top the end of his career, maybe as a rapper he's slowed down the appearances but as a producer he will keep going as long as he can.

I dont know why he need to do that, coz everyone wants hear him make another Doggystyle record and the original went multi- platinum and 'Blue Carpet' strictly on that kinda gangsta vibe can do that as well.

The Detox, a Dre/Snoop record, NWA lp...thats what millions want to hear. Those lp's should be first priority.

Dre is at his best when he produces near enough most of the record, last lp he did like that was 'Chronic 2001' and we know how dope that sounded.

Come on man. Snoop has done FAR, LIGHT YEARS, LEAGUES more than anybody else to 'bring the westcoast back', he's worked with everybody and anybody, even no names. He goes over this in depth in the interview, and whether people don't like him or think he's a snitch or he's lying or whatever: it's a fact that he works with more westcoast, unknown acts than anybody else. Short of handing them money I don't know what more he could do to help them. He can't just turn his back on eastcoast acts, why would he? Of course he's gonna work with them, but he always does tons with unknown westcoast acts too.

when i interviewed warren, i think he said soemthing along the lines of that snoop wanted the 213 album to go in another direction, and that warren himself did want to produce on the album, but just was not given the chance given the new direction of the sound. .. correct me if im wrong..

Definitely a good interview...I was a bit suprised at what he was saying about Dre, even though it makes plenty of sense and I had speculated that he just doesn't have that drive and energy.
For one...you gotta think about what he's done in his career...he's been a FULL TIME producer for 20+ years! He has kids, family, and a life to live...and even more than that, he has enough money to live 6 more lifetimes and be comfortable. So it's obvious that he won't have that same drive to produce full albums, or to create classic music. He's already the Jordan of production, and there aren't many Shaq's, Magic's, Larry Bird's, or Dr. J's that even come close to what he has accomplished...even if you may prefer Quik, Battlecat, or Premier, Dre has a LOT more on his record than they do.
And also...as far as Dre helpin out the west...he made the west what it is, and he has done a whole lot for the West, period. Personally, I don't think we'll ever be happy. Even if Dre, on his own, somehow made it to where the West was stronger than ATL is right now....people STILL wouldn't be happy, and they would complain about how he isn't helpin the west create as much classic music as he did from 89-94....so we'll never be happy. It's not really his duty to work with EVERY single west coast artist and to make sure that the west stays around, even though we somehow feel it is his duty.
We even "knew" that he wasn't going to put The Game out, if you read what we were saying in 2002-2003...we just figured he'd be shelved like everyone else. So even for him to put him out was a blessing...and that still didn't really help the West a whole lot, because it is up to more than just a few major individuals.
