What would you say are some of the best albums to drop this decade? Some dropped and had major buzz at the time, but you don't hear as much about them now...while some are still mentioned every day.

i didnt expect blu & exile to be brought up! that is a tremendous album it is my favorite hip hop album. ever. period. and i would say at the LEAST best post 2000 and top 10 all time.

what a brutal decade (2000-2009) for westcoast hiphop compared to the 90s. hell, even the late 80s (87-89) was 10 times better.

all eyes on me
and a shitload more. in fact i would take any single year for 88-97 over the entire decade of 2000-2009

You have to mention Cube's "Laugh Now Cry Later", Messy Marv's "Bandannas, Tattoos and Tongue Rings", Mistah FAB's "Baydestrian" and also "I Luv Cali" by Roscoe and of course the 2 DJ Quik records.

Kurupt was living in Los Angeles when he came into the game. Pac came out of Marin City to join up with Digital Underground. He lived in Cali throughout. Outlawz (Fatal) fucked with Pac but they were cats from Jersey.

well thats the sad thing. Nobod could make an album that sounds better and flows better than a dead guy. 2pacs a legend but that doesnt mean hes untoppable.

I thought the first Dilinger & Young Gotti album was one of the best this decade. Very underpromoted, if handled right could've been a big plus for the West Coast in the mainstream
