mostly everyone on here talks about cars and drive cars.
right now unfortunately I drive a car, but I'm saving up for a Toyota Tacoma, a 2000-2003 model, maybe a 2004 if I find a great deal. I should have it by december of this year or january. but yeah I like trucks much more than cars. anyone drive a truck? a toyota tacoma? what do you think of them?

^^^^those are fuckin wack. not only are they ugly, but the bed is small as fuck, almost useless. I will put much use out of the bed of my truck, which is a big reason why I want a truck so much.

You know this feature is nice, lockable trunk under bed.
I don't care for space in the back, I'd rather have more space in the ride.

i think the honda pick ups are nice

i dont know if it was just her truck but my sister had a 2001 Tacoma and it was a straight peice of shit. That thing stayed in the shop 24/7. Nothing beats Chevrolet trucks in reliability in my experience. Plus they look better than any other truck in my opinion. I'd go with a Chevy S10 if i was you. Im no expert though so take that for what its worth.I'm more into older rides myself but they just arent economical. I'm drivin a Ford Focus right now :'(

^Maybe that Tacoma was made in the USA :P
Better make sure your truck is manufactured in Asia :D

that will cost u for the import

i have a 03 gmc sierra, with a 4.8, i would get a fullsize if i were u

naw chevy's are decent, but fuck american made, those japenese are much better at making vehicles than americans. Toyotas are great vehicles, that last for a very very long time w/ usually a lot less high maintence thnt something like a chevy.
Plus I've talked to a lot of people who are happy with their tacomas. not too expensive either.
-
i got a buddy with a tacoma. They're really nice.
And honestly, in no way is an american made car more reliable than a japanese car.

nah, it would probably be better to get a USA manufactured one... an Asian manufactured car is made for ASIAN conditions, not for U.S conditions... in Australia alot of people have problems with their Japanese imported cars...
and LMAO at the truck nuts...
-
if your gonna stoop to asian trucks, fuck honda, go with a toyota tacoma, dont get a pussy ass pre runner tho. you'll wanna replace the tires too, stock yota tires are too thin, get some yokohama geolanders, you should be able to find them for a decent price.
-
I'd waaaaaaay rather have an import than a domestic vehicle.
-
i wouldnt get a truck, unless it was for work

I'm getting tired of cars, I wanna try out a SUV. That will probably be next ride.

You gotta go with the new Toyota Tundra. They are powerful trucks with a nice Look to it.
-
im sorry im not a reneck.
-
I don't need the power of a tundra. I have nothing to tow, and I'm not gonna be going 4 wheelin.

Toyota Tacoma's maintain a higher resale value than any other truck in its class. That goes to show it's a better built machine. Plus it'll last you for years on end. Beautiful truck plus it just got bigger and they now offer a long bed 4 door which is sweet. Good chioce that you won't regret.
The Honda Ridgeline is nice, but it's too new to the market so you want to wait till they work out all the bugs. It has alot to prove since it's a Honda. Also I'm not feelin' the unibody design, it takes away from it looking like a truck.
But don't hate on American trucks. There's a reason Ford outsells any other truck or car for that matter. Fact is Ford and Chevy know how to make great trucks. Cars are another story but as far as truck goes they know what their doing. Have you ever sat in a Ford F350 Crew Cab Long Bed Turbo Diesel 4x4? That damn truck cost nearly 50 grand and people buy it. Alot of people buy them. It's mind blowing when you think of the other luxurious cars they passed on buying just to own a "truck".
I'm personally Toyota bias because I'm the president of a Toyota's-Only truck club called the San Fernando Valley "Flojos". The club's been around since 1985 but I joined in 1995. We either slam the fuck out of them or raise them on monster truck tires.
I own 2 trucks. A 1987 Toyota 4-Runner 4x4 thats's painted candy cobalt blue and sits on 40" tires and a 2002 Ford F250 Crew Cab Long Bed. Both trucks treat me well as I expect different things from both of them. I just love trucks in general.
Good luck.
