i remember back in the day, 97-98, bad boy was the shit, i got no way out, and then mase harlem world, man i loved that shit back then, bumped it all the time, i lost it after a while. my cousin bumped it yesterday in the car, and damn man, i had to borrow it from him and burn it, it just brought back so many memories. i remember, "lookin at me" was huge, all my friends and shit bought the album after listenin to mine. shit, its kinda sad that i got more girls back then than now, lol. i was a playa all through middle school.anyways, yall can hate if you want, but i liked mase. i never got around to buy his 2nd album tho. i guess ill check that out soon, so what yall think of mase?

I liked Mase, his first album was incredible. He had some funny lyriccs and a dope flow for a very commercial rapper. People didn't really seem to appreciate him when he was here, but now that he gone there are mad peeps who wish he would come back so we didn't have to hear terrible wannabe's like Fabolous.
As for Mase's second album, it is very AVERAGE. Supposedly he already wanted out, so he didn't put his all into it. Dopest songs are:
All i Really Want (could've been HUGE HUGE if released)
Get Ready (Nice G-funk whistle)
Double Up
there are some other dope cuts, but these are the only ones that fuck with the original.

That ain't sad or suprising that you were a bigger player in middle school because girls become bigger bitches the older they get. And you start having to conform to them more, when in middle school it was cool to be creative and be yourself.
And as for Mase, your muthafuckin right, that Harlem World shit was bangin, my favorite track at that time was "I Need To Be"(I think that's the name) the one where he's talking about trying to get an underage girl in bed. That was my song because I remember there was this younger chick at that time I was trying to get with, several months later it happened. Yo, that was a fun time back then. Times have changed though, and women especially aren't the same the older I get.

Yeah, I remember that shit from the website, that's ironic we both used to visit that site back in the day, Mase was trying to go back to Murda Mase

Hes a great Preacher, lol
Nar I have heard some of his shit adn I reckon he has a great flow and his rhymes that I have heard are great. I wish he cud still be doing his thang today.

Same here. I never bought any of his records, I would listen to his songs if they came on the radio or on TV but I didn't enjoy them enough to go out and cop the albums.
-
I think he sucks, but I used to do all kinds of stupid trendy ass shit in High School so I got the album. I don't like it at all, and I will give it to anyone on here that wants it. Just holla at me.
-
I got both of his albums, and true Harlem World was amazing. Tracks like 24 hrs to Live or Lookin At Me were great. But Double Up was below average, like 2 or 3 good songs, the rest was weak.
-
Imo vocally-flowise Mase is far from being "all dat", vocally he aint far from Puff himself..lol..tha thing is he's more lyrical than puff and alil more versitile flowise-he had some tight party shit- but nothin special.

Ma$e was a good commercial rapper, never confused with a real one, and better than Fabolous when he was Murder. He was alright, I think he was funny in his first disc.
-
Mases - Harlem World was tight........lots of jams were dope on there!
His style was different and funny...........but it was dope cuzz it was different than anybody........u could tell it was Mase right a way!
