Can you guys tell me if that seems like a good stereo? The only thing that seems weird..is the video game thing. I only playVice City once in a while, but i guess next time I play it...tha sound will be really good?
Also...The USB port..Im guessing whatever songs I play on my computer, will play out of the stereos speakers? Where it says 'Accessories Included', it doesnt say "USB Cable"..WTF?
So..Is it a good stereo for $188?
Thanks

mp3 playback=plays mp3 cds (putting mp3s onto a cdr as data instead of audio)

Yeah, and besides.. all you need to play mp3 on your stereo is a cable @ £15-20 or so.. (if you have analog input on your stereo.. but that's standard)
-
Thats true..But my current stereo stopped playing CDs.

punch it

SHUT UP YO. lol. Its still really nice. Its 330 watts...thats pretty good.
If you read what it has, it says cassette deck.. Ive looked that picture up and down and I cant find 1...unless its on the back. And when I saw it in person I dont remember seeing the cassette deck.
-
Its a nice system...someone who works with me has that an it almost matches mine ;)
lol get it...sony are the better end of the affordable commercial market but you pay for it...
...hell id love bang and olfsen stereo n flat picture speakers

Fuck no, don't buy that pile of shit. First of all it looks ugly as hell and secondly it will probably sound like crap. Save up and start building a HiFi set up, they're what you need to play music on.

it looks ugly as hell
My thoughts exactly.

Yeah, if it's possible for you, save up your cash and build your stereo from elements - separate amplifier, separate cd player, separate speakers + the stuff you might want, like MD or sumthin'. Each part is designed to do its thing as good as possible, no compromises. I personally can't afford to get that shit, I only got a pre-built system. But as soon as I get a job I ain't fuckin' with that shit anymore - I'm goin' HiFi.
But if we're sticking to pre-built systems like this, I wouldn't be fuckin' with a Philips. Either a JVC or a Sony.

EEEEEWW!!!! That's fuckin UUUUUUUUGLY! That isn't even a stereo, it's like a little ghetto blaster. Go Big or Go Home.
-
go get a car system...thats only think i will listen to music on.

:-\
Im only 16...and I dont think I need a great stereo right now. Maybe wen I get my own place or sumthing. Im still going to keep an eye out for different stereos. I saw a big ass Sony that was 500 watts for $300. It was only a 3 CD Changer tho. Imma price hifi's too.
-
If you saw a sony but only with 3 disc-change id get it...
...my sony is the mutts-nutts ;)
and its about 5 years old...still kicks ass outta anyone elses lol
...the other one you looking at as i said i know someone who has it..i hear it on a regular basis as we live in the same house...its quite good...base powerful and sound quite sharp...
...then again its not a sony...with stereos you do pay for the name but you will also be assured of quality
..the choice is yours dogg

Sony is the best in everything...I would cry if they made cars ;D
