if im not mistaken, DJ Skee owned the lebel. He's doing a show or something now? Skee TV?

any idea what the IV Life artists are up to these days? Young Buc, Crissstyle, J-Dog, Too Cool?

Oh, that album. That's not really a collaboration album. Just has a lot of features from Tray Dee and crew as the other IV Life compilations do. This was the thing that was suppose to get them on Koch.

soopa i think that the owner of the CD-R is one of those guys who runs ftpe or other bootleg sites. they have only some compilations like the fake crooked I album or the supposed J-Flexx Death Row Album

Us getting so close & not succeeding, kind of discouraged everybody but me. I tried to simply explain that "When you fall off a bike you just get back on & keep riding!", But they refuse to see that right now, maybe you guys can help me. I have spent countless hours trying 2 get these guys 2 recognize we were the talent, but the situation kind of rubbed them the wrong way. Like I was saying I'll do a certain song that I may have really been impressed with the beat or if i feel I can do the song better than the original, I'll do it, but other than that, I wont do anymore mixtapes. And I know it can do good for exposure & promotion but I can do that with all original tracks, as long as they're top quality, RIGHT? Glad to hear that you're still doing music...I would love to hear some of your recent stuff.

I still give those IV Life mixtapes a spin every now & then. Brings back memories every time: especially how I used to promote you guys heavily back then (2002 -2004) all over the Internet. Very disappointing to see how it all turned out.
Till this day, I'm sure that the person responsible for calling the main shots over at IV Life Records (most likely Del Dog?) was aiming too high.
He wanted IV Life to sign with a major, but he didn't want to sacrifice the music (which is a good thing, but as far as I know, if you're a rookie label in the industry, you'll have to give & take in the very beginning).
I would've gone about it this way: signed with an indie (Koch?), released the Game Over album & perhaps the DT&F's album on Koch in order to create a bigger buzz and then see which major labels come up with decent deals.
