Well I've reached 4000 posts, not sure thats really a celebration, but I think they've been spread out enough (since Dec 2001) to keep some form of dignity. Just like to shout out a few people, if I miss you out it maybe because I forgot, or more likely you just weren't important enough ;D
Firstly, Kill, Lincoln, Justin 718 and White Boy - they're not around that much anymore but back in 2005 they all used to post and lot of interesting stuff which was always good to read and to broaden out my musical horizons
Of course Seer for running this site and Rud, Nima and Yash for doing such a good job with Dubcnn
Mac 10 - for the football talk/banter
ACB - don't agree with some of his posts, but he's always down for a discussion about what he posts (read discussion, not argument!), making the topics interesting
Bow Down to whatever it is and Now_I_Know - just highly amusing if slightly(!) over the top with their 100% belief that they are always right
Bram & Da Illest - haven't seen them around here or spoken to them for ages, but were always cool
Oklin - beyond the strange Danish guy there is someone who seems to always be looking for new music and has put me on to some and I would hope he thinks vice versa
MIC - earns it just for the upload of a couple of Donkey Kong games for me
Sikotic - always very amusing with his posts
ING - always posting fine women in the hookup spot and seems to share the same unhealthy obsession with Christina Milian that I do
Javi - good movie taste and always posting some good news about them
And I think thats about it.

Have moved from my middle of nowhere family house to London and loving being in a big city at the moment, so much to do and see, plus its much easier to get hold of "counter-culture" stuff like foreign films, different genres of music, import video games, etc, so its all good. Only problem is I've got a very boring job working for a pension company, doing the same sort of thing I've been doing for the last couple of years, but I'm trying to get some writing work if I can as I'm very interested in going into journalism.
You still with the marketing company?

nice man, always good to live in the city. What are your propsects for the journalism? try talking to DPG2k. He was doing a lot of hip hop journalism from out there, doing shit for XXL, allhiphop, and the such.
yeah i am still working with the marketing company. just got a lot of things on deck. we did all the casting for scarface video game, doing the hip hop gaming league season 2, prepping up dogg's blue carpet treatment, and at the point managing some prod. named Swiff D and 1500.
-
Sounds good man.
I might PM this DPG2K guy and see how he got into it, been contacting a lot of websites and some local papers so hopefully will get somewhere in the near future.
-
props to you for aknowladging me, i thought yall forgot about me :)
