I can understand both sides to a certain extent.
It's ignorant to say that Glasses or Jay Rock were looking for handouts. It is documented that those two have grinded their own way to where they are, except for a while they had Game co-sign them. Glasses landed a 1.7mil deal years ago, before he later linked up with Mack 10.
Jay Rock worked his way up, and now hes on the cover of XXL, so calling him a "nobody" is ignorant as well.
However, I can totally feel Cube's supporters too, because i guess there's an unwritten rule that you just don't talk negative about Cube. That's Ice Cube!
I wish it didn't have to be this way though, personally I'd love to see Cube network the way Snoop or E-40 do, but he is a certified legend in the game and hell, he can do whatever the fuck he wants!

i think the whole young vs old beef should stop. this leads to nowhere but more negative thinkin about westcoast rap. i enjoy the old and the new westcoast rap. if both sides unite maybe the westcoast has a chance to become big again and both can only profit.

We've already covered radio here in L.A. What's next? TV? That's not an issue as well since video outlets on TV don't play anything on the West outside of the New Boyz/Jerking stuff. So what's next after that? Labels? Labels aren't signing dudes anyway. The majority of rappers out here are independent, including a lot of the vets. What's next after that? Shows? Anybody can find a club to perform at. They may not be large places but these places aren't going to give a shit about a blackball.
Blackballing is something that was effective in a different time in hip-hop. It's really not much of a concern especially given it's current state.

why would radio listen to him being that they don't even play his stuff anymore? as I explained earlier, the radio situation in Los Angeles has changed drastically. Artists might get a New at 2 play but to get in the rotation you have to be on some non-hard stuff. There's too many venues in L.A. for the show thing to be effective. There has to be money in it for them otherwise it will be a no-go. I don't see anybody breaking bread just to stop someone from performing.
Your other assessment about telling his fanbase not to mess with an artist like Raje pointed out is probably the more believable scenario out of them all.

I think Cube want some buzz crackin' cause of the new album and everybody loves too see Cube "angry" and in a battle. I still think he really wasn't dissin' anybody at first, he was just puttin' out some shit out there and wanted to see what is goin' to happen and boom, this all started. It's all about the buzz.

haha i guess ima clear it up then...as of right now IMO this is what cube can do
1.he can go to a radio station, club etc...and tell em to not fuck with jay rock, g malone, mack 10 etc....they might question it and be like well why not?
cuz im cube bitch...lol...but nah he can give his input and jus put it out there...whether that happens or not...i dont think it will happen to every show, club, producer etc...cube goes to get at but im sure some of em will be down wit him....i dont think everyone will shrug off big cube dogg goin into their office and cube tellin em to not play or support these rappers...so again whether he succeeds wit doin this....who knows but IMO as of right now it will fall onto cube's side wit him gettin a victory
2.but more importantly and more likely to be effective is him dissin them and makin em look like change....this has a better chance of happenin than the above option
for both options to not work the other side has to come up with a plan , diss or somethin crazy that shuts cube down...and thats what im sayin can you shut cube down...hes sayin he is the west...so who are they....WITHOUT HIM? lol
