Ego Trippin and thats based on the replay value.
I bumped BCT for 2,3 days and got tired of it opossed to Ego Trippin which I've been listening in my car and mp3 player when I go to the gym for 2 weeks and it still sounds fresh.

ego trippin, i don't know why i just cannot dig BCT at all, i think snoop on that gangsta shit is off the hook but i just dont think he did it well on that apart from 4-5 tracks i wasnt diggin the sound at all of the album

so yeah , I liked almost the whole album of Ego Trippin, and if the tracklist was cut down to the tracks I just listed, I would prolly consider it a classic.

too hard to choose between... I give BOTH albums a solid 4/5
I feel that "Blue Carpet Treatment" had some harder tracks but some were outta place on the album, or shouldn't have been on there, and "Ego Trippin'" was more well put together and the sound was more consistant, but at the same time some of it got repetative
I can play both albums from start to finish almost

Blue Carpet Treatment had wwwwaaaaay doper rhymes - Think About It kills any Snoop rapping he's done in a long time, Vato and some other tracks had dope flows and delivery too
Plus much better beats overall, Dre, doper Neptunes... there were some wack tracks too on BCT, but it had good stuff

At first I would say "Blue Carpet Treatment" but now I think they equal but with a different style cuz BCT was more a hiphop disc than "Ego Trippin" that sounds more versatile

That is about were im at with the two albums except "Waste Of Time & Ridin In MY CHEVY" would have made my list no doubt . 8) 8) I like EGO TRIPPIN just lil more .

its too early to tell for me. I liked BCT, bumped it for about a month and got tired of it. The same might happen with Ego Trippin. There have not been many albums with good replay value from Snoop of late.

These foos think they smart, theyre stupid. And they fool the youth into thinkin that they came up with the idea or concept for a track themselves because theyre too young to know about the original song....but in actuality, the beat was sampled from someone hot in the 70s or 80s and the concept is based off of that....some foos can make some old shit their own like DJ QUIK, but "Cool" off Ego Trippin' is practically the whole original song! What the fuck is that shit! Making it all obvious, that shit aint yours, thats MORRIS DAY.....time to go back to the drawing board...

EGO TRIPPIN is a better album by far , Blue carpet Treatment had too many Filler songs , and Ego Trippin only had maybe 4 filler tracc's and thats the real from a True hip hop fan Dope album !!!!!

originally I voted BCT, & whilst I still believe that BCT has some tracks better than majority on ego trippin after bumping ego trippin I reckon its a more cohesive album, either that or I'm just loving it at the moment cause its new haha, just doesn't fall off as much on the last half of the cd as BCT did in my opinion anyways

imo stan sounds alot more sloppy... but aside from that, letting the full melody play out gives it a different feel. Round Here feels so much darker - chilly, whatever

I think Stan is obviously the more memorable track simply because of the concept and how that kind of story had not been done before, but Snoop's track sounds better just from a musical point of view, the beat is doper, has better melodies and shit in it and Snoop's voice flows melodically to the beat

well obviously the concept is dope, but i also prefer the beat of stan; it feels much more "complete", while round here was just build around the sample(i'm not saying that's bad in general though).

If U take away the fillers and make BCT a bit shorter its a really dope album, but on Ego Trippin I only like a handfull of songs..
