According to sources at Dubcnn.com the rapper is said to be doing okay after his fight with Mexicans. She said he will be able to rap again". No word if the cut with the bottle is as bad as Daz reported on rawdawgs.net interview. I guess its true on his scuffle with the Mexicans. However I wonder if Suge had anything to do with it. Because remember he showed up on the set of 50 cents "in da club video with up to 5 mexicans" and had a stare down. see allhiphop.com archive, or sohh.com archive. Its just a theory don't trip. Maybe its a warning because didn't X say a quick diss to Suge on his latest cd.

Columbia recording artist Xzibit was attacked on the weekend by a group of gang members in what was described as a cowardly attack. The unprovoked attack was instigated after gang members recognised who Xzibit was on a night out in Los Angles. The gang was apparently not happy with the 'gang related' lyrics that X spits on his albums and jumped him.
Xzibit was out with his fiancee in LA without bodyguards when the attack occured. He required medical attention and received around 50 stitches. Despite widespread speculation, the incident while serious, will not affect his rapping career. He is expected to make a full recovery.
The attack comes after weeks of specualtion about Xzibit's career. The rumour mill has him trying to leave his current Columbia / Sony Records recording contract to join up with Eminem and Shady Records. So far, word is that Columbia will not release him from the deal.

it's to bad. he is just spending a night with his woman and some punks for no reason need to jump him from behind.
what i consider 'real' is someone lives out there life they way they want to, without fear. which is a lot more than a lot of these guys can say.
atleast x doesn't just hide in his house and then run to the studio and pretend. hope he gets back at it again. hopefully the next record will be a return the x of old.
