I just tried to listen to this but the sound quality is absolutely, shit is unbearable. The mixing is terrible which is a shame because some of the songs sound really good.

I couldn't finish listen to this, first mastering and editing is horrible and second the beats are garbage... too bad it's a waste of hot features

I let the first disc play out and then skimmed through some of the second, wow I'm not sure why the mixing is the way it is... I wouldn't be surprised if it just leaked unfinished and that's why there's a lack of promo right now and no hard copies yet, a few tracks were kinda tolerable as they are but overall it's very disappointing quality especially since Cold 187 was killing all his verses and the guest spots were dope

He should hire Bruce Swedien for mastering...some tracks are not mixed like they should be....track with Cube for example

My (official) copy of Legacy sounds decent enough to me, after 1 listen (Beats Audio Phone and Beats Pro Headphones). Ain't buy the rest of the LP (yet) though.

Before the leak, there's 95% positive posts, and after the leak there's 6 people (and now 7 including me), saying that it's unlistenable due to the mixing, not because of the artist or the features.
Surely you must have a flawless copy, not available for anybody else?

Again, it's cool, I'm willing to bet no one has been in a real studio actually mixing down an album or having it professionally mastered, but it's cool, all the artists love the album, those who have been actually supporting the artist by paying and downloading the album haven't complained or asked for a refund for a bad product, so..................... ::) 8)

I've been in studios both home and professional and have a great ear, but you don't even need either of those two things to know this album is off
go check DOC's twitter and peep the heads that were getting at him there about the joint he was featured on
I previewed the tracks from Amazon and iTunes, peeped the rips on YouTube, and all of them sound the same: mostly unlistenable

#TheBlackGodfather is a great record and if fools like Dre have nothing but good things to say over a year ago when some songs were just rough versions to listening to the finished product, I think I'll take his ear or the "great ear" It's cool! I knew the over the top critiques would happen.........especially on this forum board, hahahahahaahahahahahahaha!

Lyrically I like it better than Cube DOC track which was the only other song that came up in my search.
Yes I do believe it sounds unfinished but have no industry knowledge so am unaware as to issues that may arise in productions.
I am drawn to certain songs for their instrumentals and others for lyrics.
I notice that theres been alot of releases from artists who were big in the 90s this year with an onslaught since September and am curious as to the intention as if there is some sort of conspiracy.
I like how Snoop talks through this and I like Colds lyrics.
If I hadnt given up the weed again I would marinate, medicate and meditate along to the song.

When I said unfinished Im trying to convey that that the instrument sounds unmastered. A bit gritty. Not clean. I dont know if im using the right terms cos im not hip to the correct lingo in the industry. But it sounds a bit grating on the ears. Not smooth. Not professional.

My facts are sitting through the whole process of the album and hearing Dre saying he likes what he hears and other artists giving it up to Hutch and the producers involved. That's proof enough for me than some character calling himself Blood.....................smh! Oh and where's the twitter posts about people talking bad about how it sounds to DOC? You definitely need rehab!

Thanks for finding the specific tweets, I appreciate it, even though it was ONE person and DOC said that ONE person's opinion was valid (and he didn't say he agreed with that opinion). I thought really thought it was a whole bunch of folks but including on this forum board it's only a handful of people..........okay your opinion is as valid as the fool on twitter! And I have a copy of the master copy (that is available for download and the hardcopy CD) and it sounded great in the studio in my ride on my system at home......so in the immortal words of DOC, your opinion is valid (even if it's just a handful of people out of many) doesn't change the fact the album is great and the majority don't agree! the majority don't agree? you're still tweaking real hard lol you are legitimately the one single person in here that claims nothing is wrong with the sound, everybody else in here says at least some songs if not ALL of the album isn't sounding right... I would support this release and initially planned on it considering I own a bunch of ATL albums + Hutch solos and because dude still has it as far as rapping and producing but I can't ride out to this because it wasn't executed well AT ALL with the final mix... that's no hate whatsoever on his talent, I would be a dickrider if I said any different (as you are)
