Yes the quality is bad but even on iTunes the mix (not quality) is still fuckin' bad... too many distortions on the hook, etc etc (my speakers are KRK R5 so don't tell me they are the problem).

this is distributed by fontana right? well usually here in canada we get fontana releases a week or 2 later...but this is 2 weeks away from its release date and nothing is listed on any site i go to..
oh yeah and i dont fuck with amazon...too many stories of i get my shit like 3 weeks after its released..

you know, I guess it's a possibility Quik's Groove 9 could be a hidden track 17 on the physical CD. Safe + Sound had that lastb track Tanqueray which wasn't listed on the back of the cd, and coinicidentally the Book of David's last track is titled "The End?" I always assumed it was in reference to Quik's solo career, as in "is this the last solo record?" but maybe it's a tease and Quik's Groove 9 is actually hidden on the disc. I won't get my hopes up, but I would be very disappointed if this track is only on the digital release...

Sounds great.....
BUT.... I would replace Hydromatic (just hate the backround lol) and Babylon, with more smooth or melodic musical tracks that Quik is known for to make this a beast of an album.. I'll hold up to see if Quiks Groove 9 is on the CD unlisted before buying, even though it's worth it already

I called Amazon.com, asked about if Quik's Groove 9 will be a digital exclusive or also on the cd, the guy said "it looks like it should be on both". now he could be wrong still, but at least this is what I wanted to hear

definitely buying two cd's, and one vinyl...... wonder if quik's groove will be on both?!? The version of Boggie till you Conk out on the mixtape is fresh..cant wait to her the cdq of the og. Also, hydromatic sees to have a new verse or something that wasnt on the leakedversion from many many moons ago.
