That track was hard as fuck. When he first came out he was pretty dope. I agree though it was pretty lame how he was riding on Bad Boy.

Exactly that track came out in the beginning of '98 maybe even late '97, to be talking stuff like that during that time was just unheard of IMO.

These are old ass tracks. Top Doggs old manager was selling these to boost awareness backin the early 2000's. I had these along with other 2nd gen DR artists on very over-priced CD-ROM almost ten years back.

I like Top Dogg. Besides the Snoop similarities, he's actually alright. Props for DR for picking the archived beat for "We Don't Luv 'Em"

Please elaborate on the archived beat part.

He should've just kept tha name "Y.G.D." and roled off of that, u c where all of that "Top Dogg" shit got him.  Those tracks ain't that bad even though they sound like straight up "Momma's Basement Mixing" going on lol.  Besides his adlibing and Snoop Doggy Dogg similarities he's ok.  I wish dude the best (sincerily) but I'll never buy an album tho

YGD/Tha Realest = Snoop Doggy Dogg/Makaveli

the only difference is that they ain't them

It's like buying store branded cola rather than the regular branded version. If you're thirsty that store branded is still better than regular old water, or even worse - nasty old toilet water, which is what is thrown all over us on a daily basis will all this Gucci, Soulja Boy & old washed up MC's who have developed hearing problems and can't tell what good music sounds like...

Give me the store branded cola any day over stinking toilet water

He's saying that the Pac/Snoop era shitted on the Top Dogg/Realest times but given the uberwackness of todays Gucci/Soulja artists those shitty Top Dogg/Realest leftovers sound a lot better than todays game in its prime.

Metaphor means more than meeting a whore at 4 ;)

I love your absolutely ballshit ridicilous metaphor.  Top Dogg music:  It's better than...  drinking water from a toilet?
