His last album was surprisingly dope. I fucked with a majority of the album. I'll take another one from him.

platinum or not, ross continues to go gold, pom is near & is possibly at platinum by now. He makes dope ass/ consistent/cohesive music with bomb ass production
Forget what the haters say. The Legends co-sign and fucks with Rozay. He seems to have great chemistry with almost all of them.
Nas- usual suspects, triple beam dream, accident murderers, this thing of ours
Facemob -blessings in disguise, lord knows,
Jay z- maybach music, free mason, 3kings, fuckwitme, devil is a lie.
Kanye - Maybach music 2, live fast die young, devil in the red dress, sanctified

He has plenty of dope songs with legends such as Andre 3000, Big Boi, Krayzie Bone,Twista, Game, Dr. Dre, Jada, Styles P, Ghostface, Raekwon, 8Ball & MJG, Too Short, Special Ed, Z-Ro, Master P, E-40, UGK, Big Mike even Kool G Rap did a banger with him off that albert anastasia mixtape that shows Rozay can spit, damn i think Rozay outdid G Rap on that "knife fight" track.
That's enough of a co-sign for me to continue to support and buy his music.

nah. ross never been to jail unless he was goin' to work, he never sold drugs, he went to college and grew up well taken care off. t.i. was a dope boy and really sold drugs, really got into shootouts and drama in the hood. jeezy too. if ross actually sold drugs and was about that life he'd be the best rapper from florida imo but he's not he's just a fraud.

I'm not here to speculate who did what before rap, but it is definitely not impossible to have sold drugs prior to becoming a CO and you can be in college still trapping on the side, word to some of my homies who do just that lol

none of us know these dudes' actual life story but to me Jeezy definitely comes off as the most believable in the way he articulates his stories in the music, Ross and TIP be trying too hard to come off as believable most of the time

Gucci might be a fucking nut but he's definitely the real deal too lol

Another Dope track just dropped. The video for "Trap Luv" w/ Yo Gotti. This is that SOUL MUSIC, smooth southern music. expected it to sound like a trap banger judging by the title. not really into gotti, but he dropped a solid verse. This is the Rozay i really enjoy listening to. dropping something deep over soulful music. another hit album dropping on the 24th!!!

one of the boobie boys baby mamas speak out:

let me start off by saying im a fan of HIP HOP, #### where your from. My Baby Daddy is one of the dudes in the BOOBIE BOYS who is currently serving 30yrs in federal prison. My child will be 40yrs old before she can really be able to see her father other than visiting him at a penitentiary.

As for Rick Ross, being real with no sugar coats. he was never a BOOBIE BOY like he claimed to be. He was never a DOPE BOY. He was always a ni##a in the hood we knew. Boobie who is Kenneth Williams who Ross mentions on songs and the documentary MIAYO was never down with Ross like that. All of the ni##as that was truly down with the Boobie BOYS are currently incarcerated. Rick Ross went to Miami Carol City High School with some of the dudes a$sociated with the Boobie BOYS but was never a member or a worker. when Boobie went to Prison B4 getting a life sentence in the feds saw Ross at South Florida Receptional Center where Ross was a correctional officer. boobie remembered Ross from the hood and thought it was a way to be locked in while prison for beneficial ways.

Ross I love your music but truth be told was raised by two school teachers and was never in the streets. I told chris larceny director and producer off the film when they asked me to be a part of the film that I couldn’t participate in nothing but the truth.

Life is funny bcuz when I was in college at FAMU and I saw Ross I tried to holla at him on this same #### but he wasn’t seeing me his ego was to big. maybe now he’s having a real reality check. your fans would respect you more if you just tell the truth. you don’t have to be a k!ller and a drug dealer to understand the streets or feel the pain of people from the streets. right now to is day im a college criminal justice graduate and I can’t get a job dealing with government due to my baby daddys involvement in the dope game

definitely sounds like a sequel to Rich Forever but with less epic production and more trap shit, Mastermind bodies this by alot but it definitely has a few songs that will stay in rotation for awhile, haters are gonna be pissed off by that Boobie Gang dude on the phone co-signing Ross as official lol

Mastermind > Seen It All > Hood Billionaire > Paperwork > all of Gucci's post-jail albums in terms of 'trap rap' this year  8)

let's start way back... y'all have BEEN listening to frauds or over-exaggerations of personas:

Dr. Dre - rapped gangsta shit but was never about that life
Ice Cube - see Dre, but he wasn't as over the top
2Pac - failed crack seller, also was in arts school, no time to be running the streets banging
Biggie - people from his own hood have claimed he only attempted at selling crack but failed like Pac and worked at a grocery store bagging stuff up for old ladies
Too $hort - was never a pimp but that's all he rapped about
Brotha Lynch Hung - clean criminal record yet he rapped about raping and cannibalism?
50 Cent - did little dirty work early on but went on to become a snitch
TIP - see 50

and I can go on and on... case in point, 99% of rap is a bunch of frauds going by y'all logic, the shit is entertainment lol

Brotha Lynch Hung - clean criminal record yet he rapped about raping and cannibalism?
50 Cent - did little diry work early on but went on to become a snitch
TIP - see 50

and I can go on and on... case in point, 99% of rap is a bunch of frauds going by y'all logic, the shit is entertainment lol

dr. dalthough he wasn't a gangsta has a rap sheet longer than ross will ever have, biggie sold crack I suggest you do some more research, and as far as t.i. goes 50's opinion isn't law I've frequently spoken to a bankhead native who told me different that trumps anything suckas got to say about t.i.

Biggie sold a little crack for a short period of time and not the amount he boasted about in his lyrics, I've read all the books and watched all the documentaries you can name on Biggie and Pac
but he sold it. I'm sure he wasn't no kingpin or movin' weight but he sold drugs. he has the right to rap about that. ross never sold drugs and he portrays this fake ass nino brown image that shit is laughable on all levels.

and that image/persona is no different than a T.I. or a Jeezy or a Gucci, as I've said 1000 times over lol

just bought the Best Buy Exclusive with the 2 Bonus tracks and man this CD sounds DAMN GOOD in the Car or on your headphones. the actual cd quality/sound of this album will always be better than a dl. can't mess with the sound quality of stream rips and downloads. got that rich forever feel to it which i like and some of that soul. this knocks in the car. not sure if it's better than mastermind, gonna have to play this for awhile, a great way for Rozay to end the 4th quarter with a bangin album. so far
"Phone Tap" (Ben Billions did a great job, hard beat mixed with those haunting vocal samples in the background=WIN),
"Quintessintial" (Toomp is a fool with that crazy bassline MY ONLY COMPLAINT about this track is why did they fade out Ross's 3rd verse? the track is suppose to be longer then that, im feelin the hell outta that song, shouldve made it longer and let the 3rd verse fully drop),
 "Family Ties"(soul muzik, cardiak),
"Movin Bass" (the actual CD sounds sooo good, u can hear all of the details to the beat when you're blasting it in the car or on some high quality earphones
"Trap Luv", "Coke Like the 80's", "Burn", "Brimstone"(KRIT with down south soul) and "Wazzup" are on constant repeat.
this will be in the top 10 albums of 2014.

YALL REALLY LIKE THIS SHIT?

if people out there will co-sign what Young Thug is doing, I don't see a problem with what Ross is doing at all even if he was a CO or exaggerated his recollections of being in the street

the music speaks for itself, he can rap decently and his beat selection is almost impeccable

yea, but how can u listen to him knowing he's fakin the funk? i agree that he got some good beats and decent flow, but i cant do it.

it's perfectly normal to embellish/exaggerate. thats what rap is...but rapping about something that is the complete opposite of what you are is laughable. and were not talkin about sci-fi deltron 3030 or brotha lynch horrorcore, which is obviously based on fiction. were talkin bout this dude who is clearly fakin the funk and tryin to pass off his stories as real, stealing the persona of others and living through it. if thats not bitchmade, i duno what is. slap that shit all you want, i personally cant fux wit.

Dr. Dre got restraining orders from Death Row, 50 and TIP turned to police at certain points, there is no difference really

and a CO is nowhere near the same as an actual police officer, you can't get a job as a CO then go apply somewhere later to be a uniform officer lol two totally different curriculums, I know people who graduated college and went on to become cops and COs, they are different processes and certificates

i know what you're gettin at, but filing restraining orders is completely different from being an officer and then rapping the life of the people you were persecuting.

snitching is a whole nother story. it's also shameful, but thats more about bitchin out than bein a fake.

CD sounds great. each day i have a different favorite. for an album that may have some leftovers and new cuts, this album has HIGH replay value. thats what i dig about Ross albums. heres an interview on npr.org. good interview about his his beat selections, writing process, his hiphop favorites and more etc..
