YA'LL THINK THIS ALBUM IS GOING TO SELL. I SAY IT WILL LUCKY IF IT GOES GOLD. I STILL HAVE NOT EVEN HERD A SINGLE OR SEEN A BILLBOARD. SO THE ONLY WAY IT WILL SELL IS OFF OF SNOOPS NAME. BUT HOW WILL IT SELL IF THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT KNOW IT IS COMING OUT IS PEEP'S ON THE INTERNET. SO MAYBE GOLD IF SNOOP IS LUCKY.

I was skeptical, bu ti gotta funny feeling it is goona do well....the team of E-whte, soopafly, and SNoop is TIGHT! Hey You, in my opinion, s the best of the new Snoop songs and will likely be on this album....
-
I dunno if it'll sell much... probably gold, nothing more
-
I think it will go platinum, easily... but a lot depends on the quality of the album, of course.

IT SEEMS TO ME THAT E-WHITE, SUPA, AND SNOOP HAVE REPLACED TRAY DEE AND GOLDIE AND SNOOP. I LIKE E, SUPA AND SNOOP WAY BETTER. THEY JUST GET ON THE MIC RAP ALL TRAY DEEE AND GOLDIE DID WAS GET ON THE MIC AND SAY "CRIP MUTHAFUCKA, ROLLIN' 20'S BITCH, CRIP AGAIN, AND SOME MORE CRIP"
IM A FAN OF HIP HOP BUT I NEVER BOUGHT INTO THE CRIP HOP THING. I BOUGHT BOTH OF THE EASTSIDAZ ALBUMS, I THOUGHT THE ALBUMS WERE GOOD BUT THE SUBJECT MATTER COULD HAVE CHANGED SOMETIMES. I THINK THIS NEW TEAM WILL PUT MUCH BETTER QUALITY OF MUSIC. TRAY DEEE AND SNOOP WERE ALWAYS TIGHT TO ME BUT GOLDIE WAS BOO BOO. JUST MY THOUGTS

if u want it to sell , u got to make some promotion for it, even if snoop ain't doin some, tell your friends about it , your papa's friend, your girlfriend's friend, u know , pass a word at your school , do what u can, 8)

This Doggystyle All Stars Promotional tour isn't organized well.....think about it,the album will be out in August and they are in tour now...in june.
For that period, most of the people will have forgot these shows and the doggystyle all stars....i hope will be platinum,
but they MUST be on tour all over the summer....and with the snoop's new album, for snoop is probably impossible.
I will suppor this album.... :)
-
they will go gold off of snoops name.................they could go low plat from word of mouth if it's tight and from 1 real tight single, the only thing i question is the fact they picked an r&b song for the first single cause most people are not going to buy this album to hear r&b
-
Maybe it will sell as good as the first Eastsidaz, or even a little bit better.
-
With a catchy single it might do well. But without that no.
-
depends all on promotion. Look at tha bones soundtrack, that sold like shit an had some promotion. But ofcorse snoop fans will keep sayin promotion is tha reason doggystyle records dont sell

Couldnt have said it better, I agree with everything you said. The subject thing and Goldie Loc........
-
hate on Goldie
but Tray Deee is soooooo fuckin sick on the mic, it aint even funny

Word! Tray deserves to blow tha fuckin roof off wit his solo album......he has put in his dues on collabos and shit and now its his turn to shine!!
-
don't hate on goldie i hella feel his shit somtimes his flow is off the hook especially if the beat is faster sometimes he even comes tighter than snoop and tray dee on songs with them
-
singles don't mean shit, look at "baby if your ready" , tyhis single probably beat some records for stayin at #1 but the album didn't sell well...
... and the way the make the tour is high, cause they'll have the time to do every city, then when they finish, they'll drop the single , so it will still be fresh in people's mind..
.. so if people download some tracks and luv them, they'll buy the album and pass a word to their friend, that will make the album sell , if not , gold not much

FROM ALL THE SONGS I HERD SO FAR THEY SHOULD MAKE "HEY YOU" THIS SHIT HEAT AND THE LADIES WOULD LIKE THIS SHIT. PLUS IT HAS THAT POPULAR SAMPLE THING THAT IS GOING AROUND RIGHT NOW. THE EAST COAST WILL LOVE THIS SHIT. THEN THEY COULD FOLLOW THAT UP WITH "FALLEN STAR" OR "DOGGHOUSE AMERICA" EVEN THOUGH DOGGHOUSE AMERICA IS TIGHT I KNOW THEY GOTTA HAVE TIGHTER SONGS THAN THIS. BUT SUPA SAID THIS COMP IS JUST A TASTE BUT THEY ALLWAYS SAY THAT.
-
WHEN I PLAYED "HEY YOU" FOR MY BOYS ALL THEY COULD SAY IS "SNOOP IS ABOUT TO DO IT" SO THAT SHOULD TELL YOU.
-
WHAT'S THE TOPIC OF THE SONG "HEY YOU"?
This song could be good for the east coast folks, but its nothing spectacular
-
goldie loc is off tha hook.. i think he is tighter than tray dee cause he has a lil more charisma in his rhymes... and yall are right, everythang comes down to promotion, marketing, and picking the right single...
they definatley need exposure.. if yall wanna know who does it right, hate them or love them its ja rule and murder inc. they picked a dope first single for that compilation they got coming. the video introduces everyone in their camp as well.
snoop needs to promote everyone better , too.. i remember when snoop had the whole camp on bet's "oh drama" and he introduced soopafly as his "good friend" to me thats some dumb shit. he should have said his dope producer and "bout to blow up" artist or sumthing like that. but it all comes down to promotion
