Nope, they'd be useless... the gamecube runs off a minature dvd, and you can't burn those (you can't buy blanks) so a mod chip wouldn't help anything.

No seems cannot be done..mod chips are available..but only enables you to play imported games...not backups


reason why backups such a problem is the way the data is stored on the mini dvd disks...also although you can buy these disks as blank...
..like the dvd recorder when it first came out..simply wasnt worth it...

Lets just say nintendo getting clever  :'(
