English newspapers are reporting that former "Spice Girl" Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) has been trying to negotiate a deal with rap producer Dr. Dre to do production on her new album.
Victoria Beckham is said to be very desperate to get into the American market and in her words, "If I was to work with Dr. Dre it would mean cracking into the American market."
In related news, Dr Dre is also being sought out by another euro-based act, Ms. Dynamyte who is also looking to have the Good Doctor work on her upcoming album. Dynamyte is also said to be very interested in the American market and sees it as a possible goldmine.
No word from Dre or the Aftermath camp on whether any of these collaborations will ever take place. We'll keep you posted!

victoria beckham has been looking proper nice latly (just a little underweight but which celebrities arn't?) i now rate her up there with the likes of liz hurley, cameron diaz and my favourite jenifer ellison (dreams for a while) and britney has been relegated from my top 5 :o i'm undersided of the ther other position in my top 5 at the moment but angelina jolie has been looking nice latly.
musically i don't think much of her, however she has a proper plan to crack america, she has signed to the same people behind alcia keys and will be hosting one of the major award shows i foreget which. and a load other stuff she got goin on apart from being one of the best looking women in the world!

who really got a boost from 2001? hittman but then he faded away to lack of material getting put out and not having quality material
xzibit got a bit more exposure, however it was bitch please which broke him through and the amount of work he did by getting on over 30 albums released in 1 year.
snoop just maintain his current status
knoc flopped, advances came out which just showed he couldn't hold an album on his own
six-two DOC's artists not much material appeared from him since
all he did was put out a brilliant westcoast record, he didn't "save" the westcoast look at the albums in 1999/2000 who moved units? dre snoop xzibit
people talk dre up to be a God of the westcoast, he can't turn radio stations, record companies, music tv station etc. into marketing machines for the entire westcoast. dre n snoop been about for years they worked with many people from the westcoast and from other areas if they just stuck to the westcoast all they'd do is isolate themselves even more than westcoast rap already is.
of course artists these days usually need a helping hand from some major artists but immaginations can stretch further than just dre n snoop being solely responsible for an entire coast

i;ve heard it several times... latest one was on that 'beckham is black' program the other week where they conluded he's rare among white celebs to appeal to the black community in the UK... partly due to his fashion sense etc etc
