You can tell simply by listening to it that Sam Sneed produced it, same thing with Natural Born killaz, has that Sam Sneed sound to it.

Sneed Produced. Dre mixed, J-Flexx wrote the raps for Dre cause Dre isn't the best writer. He even got Jay Z to write his own comeback track  :P

daz has never claimed to produce anymore than gin&juice and one other song on doggstyle. he got creditted for doing those drums on one song on the chronic.

hittman doesnt produce, he's a writer. jay-z wrote one song, royce 5'9 wrote 'the message'.

most of these 'claims' stem from deathrow's usual attempts to blacken dre's name after he left.

Credits in the album booklets mean nothing! & believe me ~ The original Chronic album deprived a large amount of credit due to artists & other producers. That was known in 95!

There was more than just Daz working on that Album. DOC was responisible for a lot of the track concepts and writing which, he never got the credit for.

Lets clear this little thing up. The Chronic was a masterpiece created by a whole host of young hngry artists - WITH THE HELP OF DR DRE. His name (being popular at the time from the depature of NWA and the beef with Easy & Cube) would sell more units with Dre's name. But he did do a bit of work on the album.

thats kinda the way i see things.. at the end of the day, dre is the glue that sticks it all together right, he has a rep for being a perfectionist.. throws all the ideas in a pot, mixes em up, and keeps the best... at the end of the day he directs the output, not in a "he just makes the beats" sense like a typical hiphop producer..

He's good on a set on decks, no doubt. A lot of producers are like that today though. They have a team of musicians. Like Scott Storch doing the keyboard/piano's on 2001!

Nontheless the Chronic is a classic

Yeah, the daz one always cracks me up.  Daz was a fucking crackhead off the streets, had never rapped wrote or even been in a studio, but yet he supposedly produced the greatest rap album of all time.  LOL... meanwhile, the album sounds just like a slightly better version of "niggaz4life" production wise, and people will admit dre produced that, but won't admit he produced the chronic, even though it sounds like the same type of production.

They DOC doesn't go around saying Dre ripped him off.  He does say he wrote stuff, because he did, but I thought we were talking about producers?  When O showed you that Daz doesn't claim to produce the Chronic, you mention the DOC, but he don't produce.  Which is it?
