I have no problems getting rid of porn, and I already gave up the drank. But pork, nah dogg, I like pizza, and all they got are pig toppings. It's all good though. The pork thing is the only thing I never got about Muslims. I mean, I knew people that were Muslims and would drink, smoke weed, pornicated and sin like crazy, but they still didn't eat pork. I would be like, you can eat pussy being Muslim but can't eat pork. For the record: I am married, but not to some girl I met over the internet.
When I was living in South Lake Tahoe, CA (a Muslim there had offered to help send me to Hajj) there was no mosque in the city, I would have to drive almost two hours to be a part of the community. I wanted to marry a Muslim woman. So to find a Muslim woman I had no choice but through long distance (internet). I traveled to Oman (Gulf of Arabia) to meet a girl I had been talking to over the internet. We got engaged, but ultimately it would take years for me to save up enough money to show her parents I could take care of her (the Omani dollar is 3 times stronger than our dollar). So we never got married.
Then, after I moved away from South Lake, Tahoe, and back to the midwest. I then lived just 3 milies from the Islamic community, and I was able to become an active member of the community. Some of the older brothers approached me and offered to introduce me to their daughters. I ended up marrying an African American from the local community. We've been married for 8 months.
End of story. Now ya'll can quit passing around false stories about my personal life.

After Allah revealed the order that alcohol was forbidden, the Prophet (saws) never touched it. All the Muslims dumped their alcohol into the streets, so much so that it was flowing like a river.
And Rod, I suggest you read the Qu'ran to find out the true definition of a Muslim. Why don't you study the way of life of the Prophet Muhammad, (saws) and his companions (sahaba) and find out what real Muslims act like. Those Persian's and Arab's you hang out with on the street who want nothing more than to be able to pick up on white women and "fit in" with American culture, do not represent Islam as defined by the Qu'ran, and the life of the Prophet and his companions.

One of the companion's of the prophet said he loved his enemies more than his friends because his friends would always beautify his mistakes but his enemies would point out his shortcomings, and then he could correct them. Alcohol and porn are wrong, and I will continue to speak out against these devices of the Shatan. I won't force you to become Muslim. But the prophet said that the Muslim should be like the one who sells perfume, you may not buy any perfume from him, but you will absorb some of the scent when you are around him.

Actually that's not how it works. All the righteous companions of the Prophet Muhammad (saws) who made Islam the preferred religion of 1/5's of the Earth's people, they were all "converts" to Islam. Many of them were "idol worshippers" until Muhammad began revealing to them the truth from Allah and brought them back to their true nature (Islam, submission to the will of the Creator). These were all "converts" that established Islam in Arabia.
As for Rod... you go on talking about your "americanized" version of whatever you imagined Islam to be, and I'll continue striving to practice it in the way it has been described in the Noble Qu'ran and in the authentic hadith of the Prophet and his companions.

What about murder? I'd like to think that murder is wrong. That however did not stop Muhammed and his growing army from going through with it. Then after Muhammed when the movement split and each side need to build an army and basically threaten Ethiopians and Somolians to join up or die. How about Spain? You think when Spain was taken over it was done peacefully and the spanish converted willingly? Or Greece? Greece was taken over and enslaved by muslims. It took revolution to fight back against the tyrrany. The Greeks were not fighting against the truth, they were fighting against the dictatorship that was controlling them.

Actually that's not how it works. All the righteous companions of the Prophet Muhammad (saws) who made Islam the preferred religion of 1/5's of the Earth's people, they were all "converts" to Islam. Many of them were "idol worshippers" until Muhammad began revealing to them the truth from Allah and brought them back to their true nature (Islam, submission to the will of the Creator). These were all "converts" that established Islam in Arabia.
As for Rod... you go on talking about your "americanized" version of whatever you imagined Islam to be, and I'll continue striving to practice it in the way it has been described in the Noble Qu'ran and in the authentic hadith of the Prophet and his companions.
Just so you know my woman is Arab and was Muslim until she converted to a normal faith (Catholicism).

Trader's from different parts of the world would meet at trading ports in the city, and follow the Islamic economic system of law, because it was the most known and practical system of trade. Mosque's were biult at key trading ports, Islamic scholars would visit the major cities, some traders would stay and live and mix with the indigenous people, and eventually the region would become Muslim.
I will be honest with you though. Muslim's are aloud to defend themselves if they feel they are being oppressed. The Qu'ran gives man the right to self-defense. The Qu'ran says if you are oppressed then do to them what they did to you, or you can forgive them, and forgiveness is best for you if you but knew. So the option is there.

The reason Islam didn't take hold in India is the same reason Christianity didn't take hold when the various European nations ruled the Middle East and North Africa. Its because they already had an organized set of beliefs in place so it was extremely hard to convert them. Don't quote Koran nonsense to me because it doesn't mean $hit to me.

I just want to add that countries like Syria and Turkey that are currently Muslim countries, used to be dynasties of the Christian Empire.
Christians turning to Islam is nothing new, billions have done it throughout history. Take me for example, my whole family is Christian, I was raised Christian, everyone in my whole neighborhood and city growing up was Christian. I live in America, a Christian country. My friends, my girlfriend,were all Christian. Christianity was the easy and accepted religion for me. I left it all for Islam.

No. I'm just someone who was fortunate enough to recognize that there are a people who actually practice what they believed in. I found a practical way of living life that far exceeds washing your car all day and getting drunk at night. It wasn't hard for me to understand that the Lord is One, and that nothing is worthy of worship except him.

The fact that you base all of Christianity on the people you knew personally puzzles me. To make such a bold statement like that no christian practises christianity, and they all fall into evil, is absurd.
Sure there are many who abuse their beliefs and I know a lot of Christians that do so, but I also know a lot of Muslims that do so aswell.
