How UGK is above 'Kast is beyond me.
Goodie Mob should be higher.
And Devin The Dude needs to be shown some goddam respect.

it´s not even that bad, at second look i gotta say. Still, Kast should be first or at least 2nd, Geto Boys/Face are the only ones you can put up higher IMO...i know the 2 Live crew are legends, but so are Outkast by now, and they´re just a 100 times better as artists. Goodie Mob are not high enough, Lil Jon ain´t been around long enough to deserve that spot...if he had been big for like 7-8 years i wouldn´t complain even though i can´t stand him, but he ain´t really done shit yet. Why Petey Pablo made the list and guys like Devin didn´t is beyond me...except if Petey got a helluva lot of attention in the US after "Raise Up" and i just slept on that here in europe

U.G.K. deserve to be above Outkast. No doubt in my mind, Bun B and Pimp C had a heavier influence on Southern Rap than Outkast. Their catalog is iller than Outkasts, hands down. Shit, Ball and G should be higher than Outkast. Screw should've been number 1. He even influenced Face and them! But minus Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz, the top ten has the right people in it. 3-6 Mafia more than deserves to be in the top 5. Anyone saying otherwise does not understand, comprehend or grasp Southern Music!

JD should've been higher, Mia X was dope, but shouldn't have been on the list. Juvi is a little higher than expected, but he has been running shit in the South for the new Generation.

Overall, the list wasn't too bad. MUCH better than I expected from MTV.
